As you see it has been officially stated tour is only postponed, so that is good news. So waiting for new dates to be announced hopefully soon.

Maybe consider changing the headline on the post to reflect postponement, or delete thread as there is already one on topic.

I’m so sorry to all our fans in America & Canada with tickets. I really hate letting you down like this.
I’m devastated for having to postpone the tour but I will be working very hard to be back on stage as soon as I can. Once again, huge apologies to everyone.

This has been rumoured since mid week, but I didn't believe it with all the talk of rehearsals. Hope he makes a full recovery.

Unfortunately today the Rolling Stones have had to announce the postponement of their upcoming US / Canada tour dates - we apologise for any inconvenience this causes those who have tickets to shows but wish to reassure fans to hold onto these existing tickets, as they will be valid for the rescheduled dates, which will be announced shortly.
Mick has been advised by doctors that he cannot go on tour at this time, as he needs medical treatment. The doctors have advised Mick that he is expected to make a complete recovery so that he can get back on stage as soon as possible.

These are all outdoor shows. Can they reschedule the whole thing before the weather changes? I’m thinking Oro-Medonte needs to happen by early October latest... nervous about that. (Also...damn! Get well soon Mick!)

Of course, get well soon Mick.

But... what a drag.
Glad the tickets will be honored. Feel badly for those with air, hotels, etc booked that are not easily changed or refunded.

Bollocks times 1,000. Get well soon Mick. I've already shelled out loads of non refundable expenses so I'm just going to turn it into a holiday in the US instead. I've only been once before.

I have serious doubts they'll tell us...could be something as simple as a dance-related injury (knee, ankle, etc.).

Very curious about the rescheduled dates with the weather as well. I saw them at Soldier Field in October 2006 and it was cold as hell, don’t think anyone wants a repeat of that, especially since Mick and Keith looked like they wanted to be anywhere else haha.

Mick is regarded as being super fit, almost super human, so hope that helps him make a swift recovery. Best wishes to him.
