where did you get that statistic? GRRR! is more complete without the 4 'extra' cuts that were unnecessarily on 40 Licks.

Biggest complaint I heard about GRRR! was Gregory on the cover.

40 Licks was the first joint ABKCO / Promotone joint venture.
Nice cover and booklet.
In contrast GRRR! seemed sprawling and for completists only. The BBC stuff was welcome of course. Terrible cover.An album of new material to commemorate their 50 years would have been preferable. Some hope!

doesn't that really depend on the version of grrr! you purchased? The 80 track super deluxe, sure, a bit expansive, but the 50 track version?

Taylor Swift's single is looking for 30-35 million streams in the US during the first week.

Well maybe I really don’t know..lol. My point is we read that the “industry isn’t what it was” and “the peak period to release is that”, blah blah blah. Then we get worldwide numbers that I don’t care about anymore. Let’s hope Honk wins a Grammy, NOT.... So I listened to Taylor Swift’s single, what a piece of crap that is woof. In the meantime maybe Ride Em On Down has the most streams? If that’s true it’s awesome because the buying public want authentic Stones music. But Mick is probably scratching his head because he thought Rain Fell Down would be the bell ringer. So calculating our band is....

I got mine the day of release, but I am in London so maybe that's why it was so quick.

Question: I didn't get a free bumpersticker, I thought everyone who bought it at the official Stones site would get one, but clearly this is not the case?

Mine had the free "bumper sticker" and an 11" square print of the cover art. Both were marginal digital printings on cheap stock.The bumper sticker would last a couple of weeks if you actually put it on your car. Nominal dissapointments on an otherwise impeccable LP package.

For those who got the vinyl, any comment on the actual sound quality?

Kowalski--just got mine yesterday so will play it shortly and report back. I must say, the multi-colored vinyl is very cool.

Thanks to your hint I finally found the 11" square print which "stuck" inside the box and I probably would have missed it without your comment. But couldn't find the bumper-sticker...

The tracking number I have been provided with does not work with ups,usps,fedex, or wps.

I find it interesting that Voodoo Lounge and A Bigger Bang have 3 tracks on the deluxe edition while Tattoo You only has 2 tracks and IORR 1.

They also decided not to include any live tracks on the first 2 discs.

I found the sound quality to be excellent throughout.The inconsistencies of the original recordings are occasionally jarring, "Rocks Off" into "Don't Stop" for example definitely show their respective eras. I SWEAR I heard vocals and other sonic tid-bits on "Miss You" that I've never heard before. There are so many mixes of that song kicking around, who knows.

My LPs are manufactured perfectly,no static, pops, clicks or surface noise. Other than the chintzy bumper sticker and "art print" it's a very classy set. I'm happy with mine. For the money I damned well should be.
