Honk charts at #5 on UK' midweek chart after 4 days sales (Friday-Monday).
If it remains in the Top 10 until next Friday it could be their 39th Top 10 album in UK.
Physical? streaming? How many units?? Did Jagger's health scare boost sales? We keep hearing about how album sales don't mean anything anymore, but the reports keep coming...

Well, album sales are less than 40% of the total now, over 60% of the total sales numbers are streaming points, 1500 streams = 1 sale.
Keith's latest re-issue charted at #43 in the UK, on sales alone it was #18 but with streaming in the mix (almost nothing) it went down 25 spots.

The live tracks on HONK didn't do it for me at first listen. I think when watching the videos of the live songs which someone put the HONK sound track to, made them a lot better.
I didn't like BITCH at all at first listen, then someone on this list really liked it. Then I watched the video with the great sound and it got really good. I've played it a few more times and really think it's great.
SHE'S A RAINBOW keeps getting better with each listen.
I couldn't get in to the groove of UNDER MY THUMB at first but I really enjoy it now. Of course I love the Still Life, King Biscuit and Tempe (movie) versions from '81 very much but this new one went from didn't like it at all to I'm in the groove of it and there's some new nuances that are cool to the is is a nice version of the song.
DEAD FLOWERS with Brad Paisley is worth the price of the album! I've played about twenty times and it keeps getting better. It's my new favorite song at the moment.
Get Off My Cloud sounds good. I'll have to play it some more.
Wild Horse is a stellar version but I don't really the the vocals of the woman. But I'm liking her more and more.
Beast of Burden, idk, I'll play it some more. I like Ed Sheeren as a person but I never understood why he's so popular besides his boy nest door image. I haven't played Beast too much.
Dancing With Mr D is way cool. Still trying to love it and not just parts of it. I was thinking it's very good and will be even better if the Stones keep playing it.
Let's Spend the Night Together sounds good but I don't love it like I do from 1981 but as I listen to it more, maybe I will.
Shine A Light, ahhh, one of my favorite Stones songs. The jury is still out on this one. I don't know it well enough yet. Remembering the Stripped versions!
OT: I love Under My Thumb/Get Off My Cloud/Honky Tonk Woman from the official release Austin 2006.
Give them a chance. Don't miss the boat. I hated Exile on Main Street when it first came out.

I've streamed the live tracks now and like you I think they're pretty good. Nicely produced and less muddy than some other love releases. It's also good to hear some of the rarer life tracks.
Even the duets are OK (Alright I haven't heard Ed's yet...) although I've never really heard a guest song that's better than a 100% Stones song.
The other 2 CDs aren't really of much interest (Doom & Gloom and One More Shot are the only tracks I don't already have) but will probably get the 3xCD if the price drops a bit.

Oh happy happy joy joy are we now over HONK?
Why the double songs??
‘Dancing With Mr. D’ recorded studio track,
‘Dancing With Mr D’ live No Filter
‘Bitch’ recorded studio track
‘Bitch’ live Duet baffling
‘Fool To Cry’ studio recorded track
‘Fool To Cry’ London No Filter live
And. Did Spotify flip around the order?
What, pray tell is the meaning of it all LOL

I think the Brad Paisley on Dead Flowers is a plus. He adds some nice lead guitar. The Nashville 2015 show with Brad kicks butt more than the HONK Philly release with even more Paisley lead.
Bitch has a lot of lead and is very good too. Another plus.
We have many live versions of Dead Flowers and Bitch anyway.
Over all I agree, the songs are better without the guest star. I'd love to have the current great live Wild Horses without the guest. She does a great job but I don't like her voice.

When did Tumbling Dice become Tumblin' Dice and Jumpin' Jack Flash become Jumping Jack Flash? Like that RollingStone bit about Brad Paisley. So stupid.

I´ve been at every Stuttgart-gig since 1999. Never got "she´s a rainbow" there. Maybe you´ve been in Frauenfeld 1998. If I remember right, it was played there...
