The Rolling Stones have announced a career-spanning greatest hits compilation. Entitled Honk, the retrospective
includes 3 CDs, 4 LPs and 36 es
sential Stones songs released between 1971 and 2016, including “Brown Sugar”, “Tumbling Dice”, “Angie”, “It’s Only Rock’n’Roll (But I Like It)”, “Fool To Cry”, “Miss You”, “Emotional
Rescue”, and “Start Me Up”.

The most exciting piece of the collection is found on the third CD. It contains ten recorded tracks from live Stones performances, featuring Ed Sheeran, Dave Grohl and Florence Welch as special guests.

Are the double song selections for extra profit/ less separate licenses?
Were the duet selections based on profit value?

If you’re alive and ‘you’ release a greatest hits package,
Y’all should get together and pick artistically personal song selections.
Then sign the Glimmers.

On the placement and selection of songs?

Or,
Did a computer decide? Statistics?

If any artist release any album, and specifically seals approval on song selection flow,
Please make sure Spotify or whomever stream service doesn’t jive it around.

Uh, 'career spanning'? Exciting live performances? Something comparable would be the 3 lame sides of Love You Live, and the great Toronto live side. Only Honk doesn't have a great live side.

You don't enjoy Dave Grohl butchering Bitch?
I was at that Anaheim show, and while it was a nice energetic addition to break up a bit of the warhorse monotony, it sounds a bit sacrilege when listening to it now.

Mr D and Rainbow are quite good. But LSTNT and UMT are much better on 81/82 releases

I think some people get on here and complain about HONK without ever hearing it. Must be drunk?

I listen live tracks 4 times.
I just don't enjoy them at all.

Which version has a live Fool To Cry? I hope I didn't order the wrong one.

The streaming services don't have the Ed Sheeran track for legal reasons.

The "deluxe" versions have the live tracks (3 cds or 4 albums)

I don't think there is a live fool to cry. There isn't on my deluxe cd edition.

best price on the vinyl that I've seen is through the Rolling Stones website. Still waiting on my copy.
