I don't understand why people are complaining about this "Honk" release.
Yes, yet another greatest hits package for people to listen to. Another greatest hits from a different era obviously to go along with the tour that got postponed.
I can't speak for the Stones but i guess the greatest hits is for the millions of people who come to the concerts to hear (or sing over and not listening) to the War Horses.
The live bonus tracks are for fans like me who want great live recordings. I've been collecting every She's a Rainbow and Mr D live that I can find. Now the Stones are handed them to me with a download or a quick buy. THANKS!! WOO-WHO!

Not a bad overall package as far as Greatest Hits I suppose (give or take a track or two or three), and the inclusion of the live tracks is a bonus for some, but I think the complaints are based on the fact that a new studio album of originals was hoped for and/or expected. They've been talking about it for several years now, and there was even some hints from bv and other insiders that some new material might be released prior to the original tour dates (maybe a single, or even an EP, with a slim chance of a whole album), but then came the news of HONK! which sort of took the wind out of the sails and burst the bubble of any hope for some new material any time soon.

I've been a little disappointed that a new studio album hasn't come out yet. From the little bits of information I've picked-up, it seems like the Stones didn't have enough great tracks yet. I'm guessing that maybe they want this next studio album to something really big and popular.
Doesn't work for me
