Once The Stones have finally ceased to be, you can bet the record companies will be giving us a steady diet of compilations,
All, slightly different of course.
Example: Elvis Presley:
-289 Studio Albums
-1942 Compilations
according to the Discogs site.

The Last Time might have been a good title, as in this will be the last time we will ever release another compilation.

The artwork for HONK is made by Tobias Hall
One could argue that the Rolling Stones do not really need to be releasing new albums, but one thing is sure: they chose the right designer for their cover art.
For the album’s branding, they commissioned Tobias Hall, a freelance illustrator, letterer, designer and mural artist based in London. Using the Rolling Stones iconic tongue logo, a layered font, some textures, and bright colors, Hall designed a powerful brand for the album.

They do have new songs! They worked on them for most of February. They just aren't ready to be released before the tour, and the Stones wanted to release something. The live tracks might encourage people to buy a ticket. I was front row when Dave Foo Fighter played in "Bitch" and it was great.

Anyway, I have always felt that many people buying Promotone era hit collections, and not familiar with their dualistic existence or with the band per se, and thinking 'yeah, now I get all the big Stones hits' are doomed to be feel a bit disappointed... 'hmm.. yeah yeah, "Brown Sugar", "Angie", "Start Me Up".. great great.. but haven't they also got some other great songs, such as that one which goes "I can't get no satisfaction" or "I see my red door and want it paint it black" or "hoooo-ooonky tonk women" or the one with that cool riff which says "gas gas gas"...'

Someone will give'em a hint that they'll find the other great songs on the Hot-Rocks-Compilation - and that they'll need both Albums to cover the period from 1964-2016 ....
