I'm really really curious as to what Undercover (Of The Night) is since I've never heard that song (just like I've never heard Tumblin' Dice or Jumping Jack Flash). Think it's a different version of Undercover Of The Night?

Don't know about you but I find the performances on the later era DVDs really underwhelming. It's like I'm listening to a completely different band when you compare, say, Voodoo Lounge to Ladies 'n Gents. I know knocking out a remastered PPV show on DVD is a really quick win but I'd prefer they released some live audio from their golden years.

I just watched a youtube vid of BoB with Ed S. I didn't think it was toooo bad, but what I was struck by was the volume of the crowd singing along with every word. Not the Stones most famous hit by any means, but it was quite stirring to hear everyone shouting along.
Took me back to a hot night in Twickenham last year.

they should be releasing outtakes instead, even repackaging outtakes into the format of a new album like they did with tattoo you.
also they could release the many instrumental versions of many songs which are popping up on youtube at a very fast rate these days.
or they could release deluxe album versions, with outtakes and instrumentals from that era with a live album from that same tour, all in cd/vinyl/dvd format.
going down that route would see the official song list increase significantly.

I think the live will be fantastic! Getting a live version of she's a rainbow alone is worth the price of the cd! I admit that I am a Live fanatic, I love them if they are well recorded. I think the Stones should make a live album after each tour. Live is the essence of the Stones, we hope there are many live songs. BOB with Ed Sheeran for me a fantastic version, as was also the version of Hyde Park, which we can hear in all its splendor below. Ronnie does a great solo, I love how he has been playing since he was sober, my guitar teacher tells me that Wood has always been his point of reference.

But I still love them and I hoping one day soon that the give the hardcore, die hard, long time fans something to get excited about. Kinda like Neil does. I think you can use him as a good example.
Give the hardcore fan something excited about? Come on! They released tons of material from their archives in the last years. They released material from nearly every tour on both audio and video and now they relese ONE thing for the masses and you have to read that statement here.
