I never heard nothing from Peter Wolf.
Today i have made a random listening on spotify. It has been almost two hours of pleasure. Every song was a gem. Much better music than last Rolling Stones albums from last 30 years. Maybe the kind of music and guitar tone that i expect from the Rolling

Great work with J. Geils Band and solo

He also sings/speaks "No Anchovies, please"!

"No Anchovies, Please"

Peter Wolf & His Midnight Travelers and Marty Stuart & the Fabulous Superlatives are the two BEST bands in America today.

The fire is sweeping my very street today,
Burns like a red coal carpet, mad bull lost it’s way.

John Frusciante's opening intro fast rhythmic riff on Snow is very hard for me to play. I knew I should of stayed away from his body of work but it is such a challenge for me. John not only is a great soloist but also a great rhythmic player and how he incorporates the rhythm into his playing is amazing.

Somebody asked me which Jerry Lee Lewis country album they should buy. I replied- “ Easy, all of them.”

Jerry Lee Lewis is the greatest country and western musician of all time.

Go Dawgs!

Well it's almost sacrilegeous to use this comparison, but he got many of his chops from Hendrix.

Whenever I hear 'Hot Stuff" , and they go up a step for the solo,I always imagine Keith in a squeaky Chipmunk voice calling "whoo! Gong up to F# now; Hey Ronnie we're going up to F#...don't tell Mick.. LOL
For the non sequitur dept.

We are slowed down sound and light waves, a walking bundle of frequencies tuned into the cosmos. We are souls dressed up in sacred biochemical garments and our bodies are the instruments through which our souls play their music.

I bought The 1975’s ‘I Like It When You Sleep, For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It’ album. Last Thursday. I’ve listened to it about 8 times since. That’s rare for me to do that. It’s nice that an album can do that to me these days. A bit of vocal manipulation, but I can live with that watching the sunset, listening to this album, on the patio with a Mojito in hand.

No fear folks though, I’ve got ‘Honk’ on order too.

Jerry Lee Lewis is the greatest country and western musician of all time.

Start with the Bear Family reissue CD of Southern Roots, follow with the BGO reissue of Country Music Hall of Fame Hits: then Another Place, Another Time album: then She Even Woke Me Up: then Touching Home: then the 1979 Elektra self titled album: then When Two Worlds Collide; then Killer Country, 1980 album: then Sometimes A Memory Just Ain't Enough: then I-40 Country: then Who's Gonna Play This Old Piano: then Killer Rocks On, and then continue as you see fit.

I could listen to “Air on the G String” by Johann Sebastian Bach every day and be uplifted each time. Heavenly music.

I could also listen to “Ya Yas” every day and never tire of it.

Music is a marvelous gift that stirs the soul in so many ways.

Wet Willie is a great live band - think a southern J. Geils Band.

Lead singer Jimmy Hall also sings for Jeff Beck.

Now that the Stones have rescheduled...perhaps they can get Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats or Tyler Childers to open a show or two?!!
