John Frusciante's opening intro fast rhythmic riff on Snow is very hard for me to play. I knew I should of stayed away from his body of work but it is such a challenge for me. John not only is a great soloist but also a great rhythmic player and how he incorporates the rhythm into his playing is amazing.

Somebody asked me which Jerry Lee Lewis country album they should buy. I replied- “ Easy, all of them.”

Jerry Lee Lewis is the greatest country and western musician of all time.

I bought The 1975’s ‘I Like It When You Sleep, For You Are So Beautiful Yet So Unaware Of It’ album. Last Thursday. I’ve listened to it about 8 times since. That’s rare for me to do that. It’s nice that an album can do that to me these days. A bit of vocal manipulation, but I can live with that watching the sunset, listening to this album, on the patio with a Mojito in hand.

No fear folks though, I’ve got ‘Honk’ on order too.

Wet Willie is a great live band - think a southern J. Geils Band.

Lead singer Jimmy Hall also sings for Jeff Beck.

Now that the Stones have rescheduled...perhaps they can get Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats or Tyler Childers to open a show or two?!!
