Chuck Leavell played with DJ's band in the early 70's per Chuck's book.

Brings up great memories of the Aragon Ballroom show...
Dr John opened and guested that night!
What a great night it was!

Yes I was there to. What a great show! However, I can’t remember which
song he guested on - Maybe Honky Tonk Woman? Bono guested as well and I
think that was during “going to a go go”?

I was at the show, too. One for the ages.

Bono guested on "It's Only Rock and Roll" and threw in some 'Going to a Go-Go' lines that morphed into "Going to Chicago" I think. Dr. John guested on "I Just Want to Make Love to You".

Dr. John was a great musician. I saw him on December 31, 1975 at the Los Angeles Forum, opening for Frank Zappa. Can't say I enjoyed it very much, The Doctor wasn't meant to play arenas. His funky "Right Place, Wrong Time" was a breath of fresh air on the radio in 1973.
