Maybe it's just that young person's mindset CJFP! We are responsible for keeping the Stones legacy intact for future generations! I'm just so happy that the Stones are still here and being able to experience new stuff from them. Anything they do and any cool new tongue logo they make at this point will always make me excited and appreciate it
Yes amongst the best - both the tongue w/Viking horns and the show itself!
The Licks Tour was great with so much variety - not only the setlists (apprx. 80 different songs played throughout), but venues also...theaters/clubs, arenas and stadiums.
But enough nostalgia for now, there's a whole new batch of nostalgia about to begin 52 days from now....sloppy No Filter tongue included.

The No Filter tongue I like very much, added some flair and color to the merch and posters.. also took me a bit to warm up to.
That said, glad to see the red tongue back in use for a lot of the marketing this leg.
I'll be curious to see what they use on the actual show merch.
Snagged one of these pasted on the side of a building in Seattle..
the black and white with the red "no filter" and tongue works nicely I think.

I like the Doom & Gloom one better.
Nothing beats the original, however....except maybe the one w/ Viking Horns I got from the Stockholm Cirkus show in 2003.
but, that's mostly b/c of my own nostalgia of the event.

Certainly they'll have a new tongue logo for 2020, when the new album comes out, and by 2022 they will have retired, possibly after one more studio album of leftover tracks as well as or either another greatest hits album and tour, with another logo for that.

In all seriousness, the best thing about this tongue logo is its versatility and adaptability. So many variations over the years yet always recognizable.

Yes amongst the best - both the tongue w/Viking horns and the show itself!
The Licks Tour was great with so much variety - not only the setlists (apprx. 80 different songs played throughout), but venues also...theaters/clubs, arenas and stadiums.
But enough nostalgia for now, there's a whole new batch of nostalgia about to begin 52 days from now....sloppy No Filter tongue included.
