I saved my money
And I took a plane
And I took a train
Wherever I go they treat me – with same worn out songs…

Driving from OH to Jacksonville, Landover, Philadelphia, Boston, Chicago and Barrie for Burl's Creek, all out and back trips... I will be burnt but happy!

Flyin' from Cincinnati-Northern Kentucky to LAX, then drive to Glendale, then Vegas and back to LA for the Rose Bowl gig.

When The Stones stop, maybe I'll stop!

Flying from London Heathrow to Boston, bus down to New York for a week there taking in the 2 shows. After a few days in Washington as a tourist, I'm getting the Amtrak up to New York then flying home from JFK.

On past Stones tours I've travelled by bus, car, train and plane, underground, tram and foot. Never cycled to a show though winking smiley

Foxy, are you going to both Chicago shows? Me, Chicago 2, among others.

Missed you since we met--when that Las Vegas show was postponed, and I had to leave.

Drive to Glendale. AZ apprx. 450 miles (a 6.5 hour drive) a couple days prior to the show, and then back home the day after show.

Drive to Pasadena w/my wife, spend the night there, and then return home the following morning - apprx. 70 miles each way.

Drive to Santa Clara, CA apprx. 330 miless (a 4.5 drive) a couple days prior to the show, and then back home the day after show.

Drive down to the airport in L.A. with my wife (apprx. 70 miles), and then we fly to Chicago (apprx. 2,000 miles/four hour flight) for an extended 12 night stay.
She's taking part in a conference, and we'll also be celebrating our anniversary. We have friends out there, so not sure I'll be renting a car, and public transpo is efficient (including uber and taxi).
Don't have tickets for the Stones yet (looking at second show only), but I check every day, and by golly I eventually will! My wife has no idea yet about the Stones, or the fact they'll even be there,
so will make a nice surprise along with all the other anniversary festivities (reminiscent of the show in Nijmegen '07 - surprised the heck out of her while in the Netherlands)!
Then we fly back home, and my Stones '19 adventures will be complete.

62 days until No Filter North America starts, and 79 days until my first show in Glendale. smiling smiley

I'm proud to be part of the Long-Haul club!

It's a real testament to this band that so many come so far for 2 hours of a thrill a night!
