Thanx for that shot of the Bridges practice walk from Charlotte... I was in Buffalo, the previous gig, where they still walked the walk, as Charlotte was the debut of the telescoping Bridge...

And Gold Circle at Burl's Creek won't be too hateful, either!

But the best part of the B stage experience was .....

Being nearer the sacred Plexiglass around Charlie !!!!

One of my favorite stones memories involves that plexiglass with the setlist written on it..

At MGM Vegas, with nosebleeds, joking/flirting before the show with one of the female ushers at the top of one of the sections that led down to the floor, telling her it wasn't personal but that I had decided she was the weakest security link at the venue, and that I would get by her and down to the floor. She laughed and assured me I wouldn't.

Lights dim.. stones hit the stage, me and my buddy whisk by her to a great spot behind where Charlie would later be on the B stage. Towards the end of the set, I took note of the last few songs from the setlist and went back up to her spot, ascending from the floor, her in disbelief that I had spent the concert on the floor, to prove it told her the last few songs which we then danced to cool smiley

you mean you dance with this good lookin usher?? Great story!

Arena’s 2013 US
Mick prancing and jiving round there on a ledge
Plus,
they played ‘Emotional Rescue’ !
I have the Chicago show 2013 on CD
Bobby Keys on sax
Woo hoo hoo hoo hoo, woo hoo hoo hoo
On the CD, I LOVE it
But that lip stage woo eee

You mean this stage right?

From the rafters at the Oakland Oracle...

Thank you Curt!

I wonder if Mick found that lip particularly tricky,
Or just another night on the job.
Love it.

Indeed, yes Curt. Thanks for posting that good shot. Makes my day if not my week if not my year. I feel spiritually uplifted. Do u not remember the Plexiglass religion that had its origin during the ABB tour on this board and spread to Shidoobee and Stonestreff sites, including a special German translation of the Plexiglass gospel? I am the High Priest and Holy Prophet of the Plexiglass religion.

The Plexiglass lives!!

Yes, I do remember. That is why when I saw your post I was compelled to respond as I did.

That shot and this one are from Horsens, Denmark on September 3. 2006

This next one is from the Licks tour at the MGM Grand

An earlier instance of the plexiglass that I have is from the No Security tour, and it is from the MGM Grand in 1999:

I am not familiar w/ the plexiglass stories
but I think Charlie was aiming for his own private room,
away from all those crazy buggers. Leave me be and let me play lol.
