There were 450,000 people at SarsStock in Toronto to see The Stones and AC/DC back in 2003. There were no barriers really, you could move around, it was like a maze, so they avoided pushing. It was hot hot hot and everybody was friendly. A day for water and beer, same for this summer show in the middle of nowhere I guess.

We'll see. If VIP packages are "$329.50 and upwards" that means the 329.50 package is the cheapest one. Maybe it's GA along with a bag of merchandise, with more expensive packages getting you closer to the stage? Golden Circle VIP package, Pit VIP package and so on.

for US people, I think thats a good deal??,, considering the 30% difference in the dollar, on 329 thats over 100 bucks off

Ticketmaster lists the capacity at 71k. This makes sense as the venue talks about being able to handle 70k for large scale one off shows.

VIP parking will be offered. I would highly recommend given the way in and out.

No camping or tailgating. Entire venue will be cashless.

Let's hope they have secure premium seating near the stage.

This venue only holds 70k and it appears their will be several pricing options so doesn't appear to that similar to the show at Downsview-hopefully.

Really. You have to use presale to be a fan.

Not sure how your life is regimented. However mine is dictated by family and work.

As most shows have not been close to me as off late. And to use presale it's an early booking. It usually doesn't work for me.

However with this being in my backyard on a long weekend it works well

I hope this fulfills your simplistic curiosity on my fandom

Final show. Well, they said that about Chicago #2 too, right? winking smiley

Chicago #2 was announced as the final show of the 2019 US Tour:

"JUST ANNOUNCED! Due to demand two new shows have been added to the 2019 US Tour!
The Stones will be playing these second and final additional shows."

I will be there. But I don't think I can take a train or a bus or a metro there, that is why I say it is in the middle of nowhere. There will be more cars than residents in the area may be.

Right now I have four different hotel bookings, everything from central Toronto to villages and places nearby the concert venue. By nearby I mean 20-25 km which takes me four to five hours to walk.

Weekend Go Train Service from Toronto to Barrie is limited, I think there are 3/4 trains per day.

You're looking for the GO Transit Bus Schedule from the airport to Barrie...no trains.

Trip Advisor

Hint of the Day...Check for a Casino shuttle bus schedule from the airport to the Casino Rama Resort outside Orillia. They are huge buses and should make a stop in Barrie. This could work for folks in Toronto as well. At least you'll be in comfort while you're stuck in traffic...and you will be. The cost is only $10. I'll try and find out...

Stay overnight in Barrie on the way in and out and it will easy - some 15 km away. Depending on the weather, many might camp.

You want to wake up in Barrie the morning of the show or you'll face exhausting hours in traffic from Toronto...It's Canada Day weekend and everyone and their cousin will be on the north bound highway going to beaches, cottages, campgrounds, etc...

That's why staying in Orillia makes more sense. You will be traveling south to burls Creek from there.

Where as Barrie you will be heading north with all the traffic
