Generally speaking, on cover tunes I don't mind a guest sitting in , but on original Stones tunes...GET THE HELL OFF THE STAGE!!!

I'm hoping they bring back the song "Night Time is the Right Time" and have a special guest like John Fogerty to sing it.... How great would that be??!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Many of the guests were invited because of the 50'th celebrations - Jeff Beck, Taylor Swift, Gary Clark, Keith Urban, Mick Taylor, Bill Wyman, Tom Waits.

Last year, 2 concerts had guest, the other ones were pure Stones.

But really, Get off the fuuckking staaagge. No more crap guests who ruin songs. Tired of watching Keith Mick and Ronnie fake being happy that the guests are on the stage.

Ed Sheeran shouldn’t have been allowed anywhere near them. Unforgivable.

Special guests, new songs, and cover songs are all a waste of a precious setlist spot. Their catalog is too deep and in some eras, still untapped, to be wasting a spot for these gimmicks.

OK, I have to find it, it's next to the other Stones Bay Area 2013 show setlist I got, which had Bonnie Rait as a guest. Back to back shows, I got (begged loudly) both of the only setlists visible on the stage, which were in front of Mic's mic-stand.

The San Jose showows also had John Fogherty as a guest as well.

I go either way on this one...

I got As Tears Go By in Chicago 2013, but it was Taylor Swift performing with Mick, who I can definitely do without...

And, I was in St. Louis in 97 when Dave Mathews did his first guest spot, and then in Kansas City when Ed Sheeran did his number... Oh Lord, I hope it's not my fault I get the guests I get!

I just look at the moment as Stones' history, a one-off shot for posterity, even if it can be cringe-worthy.

Now give me Eddie Van Halen in Pasadena and I'll go bonkers! smiling bouncing smiley

Just having the possibility of such a stellar performance as Tom Waits and the
Rolling Stones doing Little Red Rooster is a good reason to pop a guest on
stage every now and then. That collaboration was amazing! Keep the guest stars.

When the last time they had a guest?

James Bay, I think. It was a train wreck - but a fascinating one. Silly boy didn't know the words. OTOH there have been some great ones. I imagine many Colombians considered Juanes' appearance to be the highlight of a soggy Bogota show. Keep 'em coming, I say. Miley Cyrus, why not?

No guests under 65! Elders only, no pop tarts.

No more period. I paid $450,000 for one ticket to see the Stones

Yes, only the same old guys you've been listening to for the past 50 years. Way to go.

As a general rule I prefer no guests. However i thought John Fogerty did a great job on It's All Over Now in San Jose in 2013. Also Bonnie Raitt on Dead Flowers in LA in 2006 was nice.

I believe the last time they had guests a lot was 2013.

Re: Please! No More Guests Onstage!

Tom Waits is never a guest. He's always the main event. I would still love to see a Waits/Richard collaborative album of new music. Those guys have chemistry.

Worst thing I've ever heard, at the time I actually wished I wasn't there. Awful and embarrassing.

Waits on Red Rooster should have been great, but the actual performance is dreadful.

I would tend to agree about a 'no guest' policy....
but...

Did I ever, and do I still love, the duet Mick sang with Axl in Atlantic City.

Salt of the Earth.... so amazing....
