1975 Dallas, TX Local News Report on Stones concert at Cotton Bowl

Terrific color footage of Stones entourage landing at Love Field (minus Richards and Wood who were "delayed" in Arkansas). Mick looks a bit pissed off about this. Also footage of Cotton Bowl crowd sweltering in Texas heat. Enjoy!

Forgot how big tank tops were for the ladies in those days. Does anyone still wear them today? I am old and should be put out to pasture.

Who's the guy getting off the plane after Ollie Brown? And who are the others? I know Stu is one of them.

When I hear Love Field, I think of one thing. Anybody, any of you old enough to remember what it is?

I was lucky to have been able to attend this concert. I would rate it as my second best Rolling Stones concert, the first being at Denver Coliseum, Friday, June 16, 1972.

My viewing position was at the left corner of the stage about 30 people deep into the crowd, on the field.

I am going to view that video again in the remote possibility of getting to see what I looked like in those days, as I have no photos. Unfortunately the possibility is slim.

It is true that it was as hot as hell, but it did not seem to bother me at all at the time, as the younger you are the more heat you can withstand. I was 24 at the time.

Yes, I was there, too, and it was very very hot that day. Agree that it was one of the best Stones shows I've seen. Unfortunately, I haven't seen any boots of that day, or of the San Antonio show I saw a month before.

Another day @ the office for Mick, as he jaunts down the plane stairs.

Meanwhile the crowds abandon their cars on the sides of the freeway to get into the stadium with the $10. and $12.50 ticket in hand.

Presented is the clip of Dallas arrival 1975, MIA KEith and Ronnie from the plane,
Remember *snicker they drove, DROVE THEMSELVES, and by the hair of the skinny skin skin,
Got out of jail free (Freddie RIP)

So you say ‘mick and Keith like a marriage mick’s the girl hardy har har’
Does that mean
Mick was waiting at the arena for Keith with a rolling pin in his hand and screamed upon seeing him:
“How could you have been so stupid?! Do you have any idea what I’ve been through? No, no, because you never think of me do you, it’s always...”

Edit: well it made me laugh.

Have we confirmed Mick Taylor is in the film? Maybe he was called back in case Woody and Keith failed to make it.
