first part makes sense.


second part the only issue we have is we are stones/keith fans and it was officially released and it would be nice to have. the entire 2 cd set can pretty much fit on 1 cd so there was room for more stuff. the stones have always done a lot of different mixes for singles over the years

Just got my deluxe edition. Beautiful book,everything looks nice. Have not listened to the outtakes yet. HAPPY.

Wow, got my signed super deluxe. Jeez, what a beautiful piece. Only negative is I don't like how the extras sit in an envelope and it seems impossible to put the LPs back in their place. Then of course how to display the autograph. Can't put it inside the package because it will get creased or damaged. Anyhow, it's well worth the money in my opinion. The guitar box just knocks me out.

Bonus tracks are great. Some really nice extended grooves on there, and some nice playing by... Mick Taylor. It is truly a stellar set of session material. Entirely worth purchasing the album (even on cd) again.

in case anyone is in Berlin/Germany - Dussmann is currently selling the Deluxe Box for EUR 122.

Those "bonus" tracks don´t add anything. Bonus? You should get paid just to listen to them! The only decent song is My babe. Just a waste of time and space.

I had a chance to listen to all the bonus tracks today. Not exactly substantial material. I would have preferred some alternative versions or "real" songs that didn't make it onto the LP. Maybe there weren't any of the latter.

Unwrapped the Super Deluxe in bed last night. I just love the guitar pick, got it out of the envelope, it reads "Talk Is Cheap", then I turned it around, and it says "Touring Isn't". Hilariiiooouuusss!!! Listened to the bonus trax this morning, great to hear Johnnie Johnson up front. This package gets 10 outta 10 from me. Great to get the lyrics to ICHSYU too, couldn't believe I have heard it right all these years!! Surely he must be singing summat else I Always thought!

Same here... it's pretty unremarkable.
And why butcher the 2 genuine outtakes "Mark On Me" and "Brute Force"? Butcher is the right word : like a butcher who takes a 10 kilos piece of meat and extract a sellable steak you have the impression they "cut" into the 10-12-15 minutes outtakes to make a sellable 4 muinutes pair of outtakes.
Not super-clever as the extra CD is half-empty (32 minutes long).
