Yes, and along with Jiving Sister Fanny my two favorite tracks from Metamorphosis (how can someone never have heard this before?).
I like Stevie's version the best though - and this version is supreme:

The chord progression is just right up the rolling stones' alley. I don't know if Stevie Wonder was on the same musical wave that the stones were on at that time, my guess is probably yes. Both the stones and Stevie's versions are fantastic; Mick's interpretation is heartbreaking and the band's musical arrangement is Gimme sheltering it; awesome cover.

It actually is. The released version is spliced together: the part starting at the second slide solo is a copy of the first slide solo.
