Very sad to hear about Sharon! I really loved her posts, she was a fun and insightful fellow fan. Condolences to her family.

I am here in Michigan taking care of my elderly parents and trying to keep them safe from COVID. Indian summer just ended and now the cold weather is, I fear, here to stay. . . bah humbug!

Very sorry to hear about Sharon. We discussed a lot of things, both Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix as well as lots of "OT" per email through the years, but haven't talked to her the last 2-3 years. Knew about her health issue. Intelligent and reflective person.

Very sad news. I loved her posts on IORR and I also had the pleasure to talk with her via e-mail. A very intelligent and smart person, she was kind enough to send me a copy of her book about Jimi Hendrix. RIP, Sharon. You will be missed.

Yes, me too, as well as Eric Clapton autobiography and a Dylan biography, but I sent her several books as well, such a nice thing to have conversation with particular things written in them, and getting to know 1st hand accounts of what actually happened.

I too had contact with her via email, and I read her Jimi Hendrix biography as well. That was a great read! She was right there with him, back in the day – she always had a good Jimi-story.

She worked on the Stones's 1970 european-tour, if I'm not mistaken.

She left in mid september. She told me some of what happened (especially concerning Keith) then, like Keith Keith falling asleep in his pancakes at a restaurant. But most of the things I should not carry on further, so I won't. And from what I know, she didn't "work", she was free to do/write whatever she wanted to, since she was so high respected, like some journalists.

I miss the old Baboon. I think he was banned due to one too many posts about Hungarian orchestras, or something smiling smiley Good poster indeed.
