Dandy, I have always loved your posts. I wish you the best! Stay strong, you'll get through! If the Stones can keep rocking this long, so can you!

Hi Bliss, yes a very long time! Hope you're doing well. Tomorrow is the anniversary of Anita's passing. :-(

Thanks for the nice words, everyone!

I’m doing really well, btw, and the doctors are positive.

Truly honestly 100% that is GREAT TO HEAR DPM!smileys with beer
Been sending the best positive waves your way man... GET WELL SOON!
As you can tell from all the positive posts from people... well... you know... not to get all sappy or anything...cool smiley

Anytime the Rolling Stones are out on tour and DPM is getting better are a good indications that things are right with the world, no matter what the nightly news may say!

Great news, Mr Powderman!

CindyC, I still think about Anita, the autobiography that we'll never see. I think about L'Wren too.

Thanks for the nice words, Bliss and Xam (and everybody else I hope I have not forgotten to thank).

The cancer part is chronical, though, but can be kept under control. The doctors are optimistic about the kidneys and their ability to mend.

Marlon said Anita did indeed write one, and something along the lines of 'he won't have it published until certain people are no longer alive.'

Chronical, I had to look that up... and I was hoping it had something to do with really good chronic weed.... but sadly... nope. Man, I know nuthin. The more I hear/learn about the C word, the more wtf? it is.

DPM lifelong good vibes to you man and hoping they make some medical advances.

If there are any causes/places/groups/etc which you feel can help you or others with this situation please post how/where someone like me can do something, make a donation, spread the word, something anything that might help. I am not rich but I will give my share. If I can afford some Stones shows I sure as fk can afford to donate to a good cause. I wish/want to do more than post words, I wish I could make it go away, or at least help a lil to help it go away.

I can't even imagine what a life-changing experience this has been for you. Keep us updated when you feel up to it. We are all in your corner with prayers and healing thoughts.

I'm a layman in medicine but the word chronic always scares me. There is nothing I can do except hope for the best. Life isn't fair. You deserve the best Bård. Take care.

I hope Dean will be back soon. Always a pleasure to read his reviews, bringing things in sharp analysis to the point.

I was just looking for his review on Chicago 1 or 2 when I came across this thread.

You're being missed round here, Dean.

It's there now. He's reviewed both shows in the Reviews section for Show 2.

Still thanks Grzegorz! I was pleased to find Dean's review shortly after I had sent my above post. Good to see this great rock'n'roll writer back on the review pages of IORR. However I found it a bit tricky to retrace this thread after it had been merged into another thread.
