Best interview I've ever seen Charlie give. Crazy that he recollects all those people I've never even heard about. I can't wait for the rest of the story as well.

No. Ginger hails from Eltham, south-east London. Charlie is from Wembley, Middlesex (now Greater London). Their accents are similar, however. Truthfully, the accent in the south of England is traditionally fairly generic. Old-school ‘cockney’ and the upper-classes have their own ‘thing’ accent and language-wise, though.

Does anyone actually, in'real life' actually speak like Danny Dyer and some of the other cast members of BBCs East Enders? They seem unreal!

So enjoyable...
it would be wonderful to see Charlie doing more and more of this type of press.

The man is a legend with stories that must be told!

Thanks.

Hal Blaine Roundtable

"Hal Blaine has contributed an incredible amount to the history of the drum set. He is widely known as one of the most recorded drummers of all time and has influenced most drummers today. Hal Blaine is joined by Charlie Watts (Rolling Stones) Jim Keltner (legendary Session Drummer) and Don Lombardi. Together they discusses some great stories and their past experiences in the business."

The 5 parts of this interview can be watched here: [drumchannel.com]

The Drum Channel’s kicking it!

Interesting note in the ‘About the Artist’:

...Watts continues to record and play with the Rolling Stones and expects to stay with the band until Mick Jagger or Keith Richards decides to retire.

just fascinating. thank you.
I like how intelligent, articulate and focused Chad and Flea are.
Flea has a music school for kids I think.
I've never been a big fan Chili cause Anthony doesn't work for me very often, (some tracks he does tho!),
but I've none of their records
and probably missing some ace stuff.
But Charlie seems so comfortable with him,
and we know Charlie more likely
to give a glare, shut up,
and look either slightly disturbed by having to show up, or being extra polite or try to look interested if it's an 'Official" press appearance.
fascinating and wonderful. wanna see all of it.
