STP-
My conclusion is based on what else is out there that they haven't released? 2019 is the 50th anniversary of Altamont and the Hyde Park shows. No word on those shows being released. Somehow I can't see Altamont being released at this point. If they wanted to release it, they would have already. Hyde Park has been released on DVD in the past already.

Besides Charlie is My Darling soundtrack how many pre 1969 shows were recorded? I'd think most of us would love a show from '66 but the question is does a full show exist? From '69 on ever tour has been covered in some form or is scheduled to be released. Most of my bootlegs from '67 tour are VERY rough. There is a great '66 Hawaii show but it is cut and not complete.

'69 Ya Ya's deluxe set
'70 Roundhouse
'71 Leeds
'72 L&G
'73 Brussels
'75 LA
'76 One would assume Paris or Knebworth is coming soon.
'78 Texas
'81 Hampton
'82 Leeds
'89 Atlantic City is scheduled
'94 Miami
'97 St.Louis is scheduled
'99 San Jose
'03/'04 Something from around Four Flicks should be coming.
'05 Light Fuse
'13 Summer Sun
'16 Havana Moon

I already mentioned El Macambo from '77 and Altamont. What else is potentially out there besides the scrapped (for now) '72 Phili and maybe a '69 NY show? I'd love more releases from the 60's and 70's but I just don't know what else is out there.

I'd like to see some sort of "mix" from a bunch of gigs from the Licks tour. Lots of good club-gigs, arena-gigs....lots of gems in there....lots of good set-lists to choose from.

I really don't need another version of Satisfaction at this point.

You've got some great points. Though the Roundhouse show is from '71, and there should be enough fottage to finally release a full '69 show on film/dvd. Also I bet Let It Bleed would be released with some bonus material. Parts of Miami pop festival, MSG, Boston, Baltimore Altamont and London '69 were filmed. Then there is the 1970 tour of Eurpope, the full Roundhouse, any show from '72, Perth, LA, and Sidney from 73 etc. The list just goes on...

I'll buy anything from the '69 and '72 tours that they want to release! My favorite tours.

Throw in 1973...the Australian tour. What a great transition between the hard, fast rock of '72 and the sweet finesse of '73 Europe/Brussels. The Perth show is absolutely incredible...

The DVD/Bluray is not the complete show. I think the point being made is that, short of the 2CD bootleg, Hyde Park '69 has not been officially released as a full show.

Six camera crews and twelve hours of footage.
Apart from what was originally broadcast very little extra footage has been released. It makes you wonder if it still exists.

As far as Bridges to Babylon - St. Louis reissue first.
As far as A Bigger Bang - time for something we haven't seen from (the tour ran for two years)
Maybe something from the first North American leg (August '05-February '06) - We know Fenway was on Dateline and the NFL used Detroit.

The 1976 Paris concert Les Abattoirs was definitely filmed, so they will have both good quality audio and video. I hope it will be released, because the ones in Paris have been great concerts.

anything pre 1970 is not going to happen...they dont own the rights, therefore wont make any money off of it.... Hyde park is different because the BBC owned the footage, not abcko, which is why we didnt get audio from that show, but instead got the 71 show

.....keep on rolling.....

Regarding Detroit August 31, 2005.
We'd hope they have rights to it.
A Bigger Bang is due to come out of the vault - something from a usa stadium.

Deltics, thanx for the Hyde Park article.

I always wondered about more stuff from that gig.

Has the BBC ever been asked about this?

It was filmed by Granada, part of the ITV network, not the BBC.

Also I think the rights to the audio recording is shared between ABKCO and the Stones. Either can release it without the other parts permission. That also mean they share the income.

Of course, I mixed it up.

But still, same question.Do we know about this?
There must have been inquiries over the years. Its one of their most famous concerts. Would be great to find more film material.

Judging from the bonus material on the most resent releases of Stones in the Park, there is not much left unfortunately. I'd love to se the complete Rambler! Down Home Girl would be great too... Hopefully the audio gets released in the near future.

We've got more than enough Bang and Four Flicks as it is. They can't hardly give them away.

Wonder what Four Flicks uncut will be?
Maybe they'll do something like they did for Totally Stripped.
Here's a BIG question regarding 2019 releases.
What will come first?
New studio album - first original songs since 2005. Proper follow up to A Bigger Bang.
A live show out of the vault - Detroit stadium '05 or something from Tattoo You would be nice.
An uncut release - Steel Wheels or St. Louis

I guess ''Four Flicks'' uncut will just be the three shows, MSG, Twickenham and Olympia, with the omitted songs (Rip This Joint and IORR from Olympia, GS and SFTD from MSG etc). Not too exciting.

Generally speaking I don't think the Bigger Bang tour was appreciated enough by fans to warrant a vault release of another show when we already have Biggest Bang, Shine A Light and Light The Fuse.

I'm not too bothered which Forty Licks show/s would be used.

I just want something representing that tour on vinyl.

Presumably like TOTALLY STRIPPED with three unedited 2003 shows (MSG, Paris, and London) on DVD/blu-ray and CD.
