It's not like we can't skip a release if we're not interested.

Exactly. I have used this 'skip this release' button quite much lately as far as FROM THE VAULT series go. And as it looks like now no need for any other buttons in future either...

I was confirmed again few weeks ago, that Cherry oh baby is/was planned to be included! I guess this is one of the last golden nuggets we will see.

Please please please make this a DVD/cd combo with Paris'76 on DVD/BR and a 2-cd set of the Mocambo gigs as a a bonus.

to be honest, I guess the fascination of ElMocambo is, that we only heard parts of it. people may be disappointed once they hear everything. after all it`s just another show...

but yes, better to have it than not to have it.

I think the fascination is that it has quite few rarely played songs in the set list and it is a club date rather than in an arena or stadium.

[Where and when was the Paris 76 including Cherry oh Baby confirmed?

I think the source was this post on YouTube:

...which despite the clever mock-up cover art, is not legitimate.

Unless this has somehow eluded all other legitimate sources, Paris 1976 is a fan request and not something on the schedule for the next couple years. I'd love to be wrong.

Imho a Paris'76 + Mocambo'77 package would have a cohesion as it would be some sort of an expanded LYL.

I would be very happy with a DVD box set of small club dates from the Licks tour smileys with beer!

it would make sense. at least there is some hope since marquee71 was also a vault release and had extra audio, but maybe just because the video itself was kinda short.

was the paris section of love you live taken from 4 separate concerts in paris at that time,

i came across a site that suggests that, and even quotes which songs on the album came from which particular show, but strangely it leaves out sympathy for the devil, so which show did that come from.

and would a vaults release of the paris 76 shows not be just a similar version as love you live but with concert footage on dvd.

Yep,

The fascination with El Mocombo stretches right back to that side on LYL.

When we all bought the album...

..and began to imagine what it would have been like if all four sides were like that .

yes and the thing is that we probably have heard the essence (the best part) of these gigs yet, so the release of the rest wouldn't be that exciting. Beside LYL we heard some more tracks on bootlegs, so keeping the tracklisting in mind, there isn't much left that makes me curious (Melody, Worried life blues).

770304A 4th March: Toronto, Canada, El Mocambo Tavern, incl.
(Route 66/Honky Tonk Women/Hand Of Fate/Fool To Cry/Crazy Mama/
Crackin’ Up/Around And Around/Melody/Star Star/Worried About You/
Let’s Spend The Night Together/Band introduction/Little Red Rooster/Luxury/
Brown Sugar/Jumping Jack Flash)
Note: Soundboard recording was made by Eddie Kramer. Some songs are
unverified.

770305A 5th March: Toronto, Canada, El Mocambo Tavern
(Honky Tonk Women/All Down The Line/Hand Of Fate/Route 66/Fool To Cry/
Crazy Mama/Mannish Boy/Crackin’ Up/Dance Little Sister/Around And Around/
Tumbling Dice/Happy/Hot Stuff/Star Star/Worried About You/Let’s Spend The
Night Together/Worried Life Blues/It’s Only Rock’n Roll/Rip This Joint/
Band introduction/Little Red Rooster/Luxury/Brown Sugar/Jumping Jack Flash)

I'm not overly bothered about the Paris '76 show. Any hints as to what we may be seeing in 2019?

Paris76 is a must especially because of the B&B tracks and, if they kept it, Cherry oh baby.

So what to expect in 2019?

Tokyo95 in the next days.
Hopefully no further delay of Paris76.
And then most probably either Atlantic City89 or St.Louis97.

Not all the songs on Love You Live Came from Paris. Sympathy, I believe, is an edited version of the performance from 9 July 1975, in LA. Someone can correct me, if I'm wrong.

Hauser filmed all Paris shows and the different specials from French TV featured different dates. I expect the June 6 show to be released but there may be bonus tracks from several dates.

I once dubbed the videos of LYL songs with the official audio on MfG #54,
so I can say that
Honky tonk woman is June 5
Hot stuff, Star Star & Brown sugar are June 6
Tumbling dice is June 7

If I remember correctly, not only Sympathy but also IORR is from LA July 9 75.
