OT: Martin guitar and the story of tone

Really nice article on the Martin guitar company and their quest for tone. One day I may be able to afford a Martin. Until then, my two made in Japan Sigma by Martin acoustics will have to do.

The Sigmas from the period of Martin ownership were superb guitars.
The new Sigmas are still very good but since parting company with Martin most follow other design & construction influences
