Unless the event you plan to attend has a definite end time that is not later than 10:30pm, avoid NJ Transit to an event at MetLife Stadium...

(Unless NJ Transit formally issues a press release or schedule for after the show.)

NJ Transit is the BEST way to get to and from the stadium from NYC. The train takes you to Penn Station with 1 stop first at Secaucus. The trains run when there are events at the stadium. FEAR NOT.

The Stones will be finished before 11pm. No problem with trains.

You can buy a round trip ticket at Penn Station NYC on your way out to the stadium.

I believe that as long as they know ahead of time that the show has a specific end time (even if it's slightly later than 10:30pm), NJ Transit should be okay.

I have posted here before about travel from NYC to Met Life stadium.
I have gone numerous times for sporting events and concerts to Met Life.
I prefer the buses from the Port Authority over the trains from Penn Station.
Even though the buses may have to sit in a little bit of traffic they are still quicker and more efficient then the trains.
The line up or "que" for the trains after the event is awful and sometimes adds another unecessary hour to your travel time. You also have to transfer at Secaucus station to get to a train to Met Life or back to NYC.
The bus is easy-peasy!

If you drive, the PARKING WILL COST $40.00

It´s hard to be online when the tix show up...but some strange error
keeps you outside the show.

I’m in New York now and travelled on that very route yesterday. I thought it was very good and punctual. We only stopped at Hartford, Connecticut and were allowed out to walk around. I might be travelling with them again to Philly next Monday. They’re hq’d in Springfield, MA and only operate in the North East, though they do go as far as Washington DC.

Recommend.

Yeah, I suppose that the storm probably will have passed by then ...

When you attempt to use COACH's website, you'll find that the Rolling Stones concerts on August 1st and August 5th are not listed as available dates on the drop-down menu... Making it impossible to buy bus tickets in advance for those dates online.

When I called the toll-free number, I got the bus garage mechanics...
