Shadoobee event is planned for Tuesday night at the Bottom Line in Dupont Circle area, 1716 I St NW. Four Seasons would be cool though!

Still might try to make this last minute, so looked at tickets and there are like a gazillion "standard-price" floor/side/whatever tickets left.. I don't know nuthin about ticket-pricing, but maybe too high? July 3rd a bad concert day? DC more interested in politics than rock n roll? Seems that Zip Code there were never this many left this close - at least for the shows I attended

Friday gig turned into a Wednesday would normally be bad, but with the 4th being a holiday, who knows?

I'm on the road at 0500, and I'm pumped!

Congress out, everyone heads home or to the beach for the holiday. It’s not the best timing to come to the DC area. Tourists are here to see the sights, they aren’t going to want to trek out to Landover.

Many are probably the platinum & various VIP packages that have been lowered to standard price.

Based on what I've read on this site and some on-line research, I've opted to buy parking in advance at one of the lots ( Green D ). As someone posted earlier via Ticketmaster, with tax it was $63. I've talked to folks who attend Redskins games and the traffic and parking can be an issue. So for peace of mind - you may want to consider.

Thanks Coalspeak. I came to the same conclusion as you on Green lot D. Could be easier to get out after the show too. Driving from Philly area.

I just watched the 12:00 news during my lunchbreak and they said tomorrow is going to be a traffic nightmare in the DC area tomorrow afternoon.

Between the normal DC rush hour which sucks everyday there will be a ton of people heading out of town for the July 4th holiday weekend which means more people on the road than normal.

To compound the traffic situation there is a Washington Nationals baseball game at 7:05 pm and The Rolling Stones at FEDEX field.

So, for those of you coming from out of town you should plan on getting to the stadium early or at least get close to the stadium so you are off the Beltway (I-495).

The subway trains will be jammed from about 2:00 on so if you are taking metro plan on a longer than normal wait.

Obviously there are a few others from the DC area on here will agree the traffic in DC is some of the worst in the country.

Do you have to print out the parking passes from Ticketmaster? Im already in DC, so no access to a home computer.

Hotels usually have a business center, Ming. But I think as long as it's on your phone, you should be fine.

Gave up on trying to drive, but maybe still can fly.. If I manage to make it to town tomorrow for this show, anyone interested in sharing ride from DCA to venue? Share hotel room for one night? Or even an extra LD? Any of the above
