Sorry---just meant to add to the post from Texas peeps heading to Denver also without tickets. Should have quoted him...just stoked for this road trip!

Rain or thunderstorms in Denver is a pretty specific thing. IT'll be sunny all morning. It might cloud up in the afternoon and we may get a passing rain or thunderstorm but rain doesn't stick around long here. and as others have mentioned, Denver is basically high plains desedrt so its very dry, little humidity.

One other heads up- The sun is stronger at a mile high. If you're walking around or tailgating outside all afternoon you will get burned. Don't forget sunscreen

As you mentioned, check the Shidoobee details. There is no confirmation on the Shidoobee tailgate Saturday yet - might not be confirmed until a day or two before. Hoping for parking lot C (south of stadium's west side). Exact location, within the lot should be posted around by about 4:30 that afternoon, after the first cars have parked. Look for a yellow Shidoobee shirt, that's probably what I'll be wearing. We met briefly last year, the night before the Warsaw concert.

The A train runs from airport to downtown in 37 minutes its $10.50 for day pass or $5.25 if age 65+ at union station connects to other buses, trains and free mall ride downtown. Union station has been redeveloped

The stadium is very close to downtown about a mile and half distance. A light rail train station is close-

The one big recommendation is to try and visit Red Rocks amphitheatre. Between April-October a ticketed concert is held just about every night. During the day it is free open to public. [www.redrocksonline.com]

For those with some time and a rental car- RED ROCKS. its about 25-30 minutes outside of the city and hands down one of the most beautiful, wild music venues in the world. And its a state park so free to walk around and check out during the day.

if you want to do something closer, Denver Botanical Gardens would be my suggestion. There's also just eating and drinking your way around the city.

Brooklyns is right next to the Pepsi Center (our arena) and would be the closest option. Personally, I'd suck up the extra half mile and do something downtown. Tons of great options, although I'm not sure who will be doing Stones specific pregames

Red Rocks is a spectacular place to visit. A little farther, a drive up Mt. Evans is even more unforgettable.
