I haven't seen anything to suggest DIA and the light to Denver would be an issue. Around Union Station at midnight I would be careful, does the hotel have a shuttle?

First, the "A" train from the airport is not "light rail", it is a real train with it's floor level with the boarding platform and with convenient baggage storage areas near every door. It does get more crowded around midnight, with all the airport workers, but they added more train cars, so I doubt it will be overcrowded. I take the train to Union Station often, including after midnight; then I take Uber or Lyft (prefer Lyft) to my condo near downtown. I'm a senior male and have no safety concerns there, especially if you catch a ride anywhere along the long block in front of Union Station. There are people and security in that area, even after midnight. However, I recommend not leaving that immediate area at night by walking, unless you are a local and know what you are doing. Also, I would not use the Free Mall shuttle at that time of night, especially with luggage - take a ride share from Union Station direct to your hotel. It probably costs less than half the price of an Uber/Lyft from the airport to a downtown hotel, if you use the airport train and ride share (or even taxi - they are in front of Union Station) on to your hotel.
The area around Union Station is a popular night life area - relatively safe, but there are too many homeless people nearby, towards downtown - that's why I do not recommend leaving the Union Station block on your own late at night.

Well, it’s Sunday morning and a beautiful day in Denver. If you’re itching for some live stones music, beggars banquet (a great tribute band) will be playing a free concert at mile high station from 6:00 to 7:30 pm. Hope to see you there!

It's later Sunday 16:48pm , weather for stadium mild temps, showing rain and tornado watch but should clear out later. At least it's not snowing, we have had 2 days in the last week.

Hi, Everyone. I have decided to come to Denver. No one wants to hear me ramble but many stories of lost money chasing the Stones for 47 years. I need to do this one within a reasonable budget. So, if some one has two friends that can't make it, I need two tickets. Can meet in Denver on the 9th. Thank you. Rock On.
