Message for Gaetzi..what are closest bars near stadium? Any recommendations.

I don't have any specific bar recommendations (I'm not a fan of any of the spots really close to the stadium) but would point out that the walk from downtown to Mile High is about 20 minutes. Or a 5 min cab ride or 10 min bicycle rickshaw ride. I'ts an easy walk and there are a ton of great bars and restaurants downtown.

We will have a group of 10 coming up from Dallas so we would love to join anyone having a pre-party in the parking lot. Let us know when the date becomes a little bit closer. Looking forward to it should be a incredible weekend

Looks like the airport is almost 30 miles from my hotel which is the Sheraton downtown Denver. The hotel does not offer a airport shuttle and I was not planning on renting a car.

I guess I can uber from the airport to the hotel and back to the airport.

But I am sure 30 miles will be expensive.

Being downtown I planned on using uber or a taxi only if needed but really didn't think I would need one very much.

The cost for a rental car is not that much but the hotel charges $40 a day to park.

Is there a shuttle service from downtown to the airport?

And it's been touched on but pot is legal here. As long as you're 21 years old you can just walk into a dispensary (there must be a thousand?) and buy all the pot, edibles and anything else pot related you want. Just know most places can't take credit cards so you'll need cash

Thank you. I think the train works for me. And I am looking forward to shopping for pot. Lol. Really. I just can’t take any home. But I will have fun while in Denver. Hopefully there are shops in the downtown area

I still need to pick up a ticket for this one. Im holding out for Keith’s side pit if I can get one minus the VIP. If not I’m looking at section 103. Has anyone seen a band in this stadium before? I’m hoping this will be the splurge ticket as the other shows will be LDs...

wanted to let all denver stones fans know, and those still traveling to denver despite the stones show being postponed, that the best stones tribute band i've ever seen, beggars banquet from chicago, will be playing mile high station on sunday, may 26, from 6 pm to 7:30 pm. it's a free concert sponsored by 103.5 "the fox" radio station. they are the next best thing for a stones fan!

What’s the weather like in Denver in August?

Thinking about doing this show as an extra after NJ. Check out the beautiful scenery, go to Red Rocks, etc.

Temps will usually be in the mid 80's during the day and low 60's at night. Usually cools off later in the evening/night. Possible localized thunderstorms that usually pass through quickly so a waterproof parka might be nice. Usually shorts/tshirt are fine, maybe a parka or light sweater depending on the day. We do also get some very hot days as well.


Since we are over 5000" elevation humidity is lower than the east, south and mid west.
