The likelihood of this is low?

Doubt we are going to have a repeat of Soldier Field 2006? Freezing.

Hello! We're back....

Quick story...I had tickets to the Foxborough show but will be not able to go. Spur of the moment this morning I bought two tickets to Seattle. I'm 26 and this will be my third show...couldn't miss seeing the boys one more time.

Looking forward to meeting the west coast fans...

I booked a hotel on Bainbridge Island. A short walk to the ferry, 35 minute ferry ride, then another short walk to the venue. No dealing with traffic and we don’t have to pay for a car on the ferry. Plus it’s easier for me to head home to Vancouver Island the next day.

the postponement turns out to be a blessing for me. next wednesday, the weather looks ok but decidedly chilly at night. that shouldn't be a problem in august. also, right now i'm in the bad part of the RA/chemo cycle. i should be in much better shape in august.

something for visitors to consider: the Clearwater Resort & Casino is a lovely place to stay. yes, there is a casino but that is far from all that is going on there. very nice rooms & grounds & not very expensive at all. the restaurant options are very good & very reasonable too. it is right on the water at Agate Pass. 5 miles up the road from the Bainbridge Island Feffy terminal. If you join the Player's Club (free) they have numerous free shuttle runs to the ferry & back that run very late. if i were from out of town for the show i would check this option out. the ferry terminal in Seattle is a few blocks from the stadium.

Hey CR, I wish you all the best in your chemo treatments! You'll be in better shape just in time for the NFL season!

Wow, you got a deal at $200 for the pair! I plan on wearing the baseball shirt I bought at the ‘81 Kingdome show (the first night). I didn’t actually wear it much and it still fits...kind of. Hope your treatments are going well and that you’re feeling better Chuck.

thank you, Angus. i just did the 2nd chemo of this cycle today. so not doing so hot right now. hopefully, i'll be good to go for summer now with next cycle in late september. most likely my days of working are numbered, trying to hold on as long as i can but i'm worn out. my docs think its time & i'm seeing the light. i've spent plenty on the stones over the last 40 years & i'm fine sitting upstairs for this one. i went to both of those kingdome shows in 1981. although i've seen some great shows since then (especially on licks tour), i think 1981 is kind of a line. last tour with more stripped down band & keith primary on the backing vocals. i miss that & always like it when he does it now. not to mention stu!

i went to the mariners game & saw a poster on a telephone pole. some good stuff for free next weekend at the ballard seafood fest. the joy formidable & kyle craft playing. saw both last summer & they were really good. btw: my first m's game of the year. probably the last. very minor league baseball (including the stadium experience now) at very very major league prices. the greed of the ownership has pretty much ruined it for me. they have priced me out. i used to go to at least a game a homestand. i like the left field bleachers. there's an ADA row. for a long time it was $12 a game. yesterday $38. i'm done. can't afford that, especially for bad baseball.

Where’s everyone meeting up before the show? We’re two fellas from Boston, don’t know the area. Would love to connect with fellow stones fans.

Let's face it; the future as a Rolling Stone is very uncertain

One thing you want to do in Seattle is take a Ferry ride. Just walk on, shoot over to Bainbridge Island, have lunch or beers, and come back. Also, Jimi Hendrix grave is about 25 minutes south east of town.

It's more than a grave, it's a memorial shrine with other members of Jimi's family buried there as well. Greenwood Memorial Park, Renton WA. Public transit accessible from downtown Seattle, about an hour each way.

The Experience Museum at the Space Needle is also worth checking out, with plenty of original movie and rock memorabilia, although I heard some of the Hendrix guitars are gone from the exhibit.

Yes, you can catch the ferry from the waterfront, near the “Great Wheel” Ferris wheel. It is a 30-minute ride to Bainbridge Island and affords beautiful views of Seattle and Mount Rainier. (I live about 20 minutes from the Bainbridge Island ferry dock) Pike Place Market is a must. If it interests you, the original Starbucks is across the street from the market. If you are a carnivore and like steak and don’t mind a splurge, try the Metropolitan Grill. Their steaks are incredible but very expensive. However, they have a 3-6 PM Happy Hour in the bar where you can purchase delicious food inexpensively, with a 1-drink minimum. I occasionally meet my daughter there for Happy Hour and a bite to eat. The weather is forecast to be beautiful. I’m looking forward to a great time, and hoping for VERY Lucky Dips!

I'm seeing Pit 1 and 2 as well as GA Field and some lower stands at face on TM right now. A few floor seat singles too.

I’ve avoided all the footage of this tour so far. My last memory is Satisfaction in Coventry last summer. So I’m getting kinda excited and nervous, I have LDs. They bring a certain squirming inside until opened.

I Couldn’t give a monkeys where I am, so long as I can hear the band well it’s all good.

Ladies and Gentlemen, it’s the Rolling Stones.

And Life is ok again.

(Depression is a weird land, and thank @#$%& for the Rolling Stones and their 90 minutes or so, thank @#$%& for Keith’s smiles and looks to the heavens. I’m ok at those times and the people around me are way less scary shouting along and bumping into me than they are sitting on the bus opposite me)
