I just looked (I must like torture) thru RS.com buy tickets redirects Ticketmaster let me select Pit B oh Keithxxoo

A strange thing happened when I bought Pit 2 at cost yesterday on my mobile. I put a Pit 2 ticket in my cart and checked out. When I got my receipt from Ticketmaster it said I bought Pit 1!!!! Immediately got on phone and straightened it out, thank goodness. Although, TM agent tried to tell me that Pit 1 went in my cart because Pit 2 wasn't available and then tried to sell me the $1500 ticket. I tried to do the same thing a few more times just to prove I wasn't losing my mind. It happened every time! Pit 2 in the cart, when you check out it says you're buying Pit 1. Problem seems to be fixed b/c I just tried again.

Are there hotels walking distance or a short Uber to the venue? I don’t think I can wait til Seattle to see them. Thanks

Yes, there are quite a few hotels about a half-mile away.

I'm flying in from the UK, Heathrow strike permitting, second visit after the cancelled gigs, everything crossed!

I can finally get excited! This show was supposed to be in the books already, but incredibly it is taking place and in our near future.

I didn't dare look forward to it until today. There was an outside chance that I would have to miss the show due to work obligations, frustratingly just down the street in the med center, but now I have the all-clear.

My wife and 10-year old son can't make it to the new date b/c they will be out of town, which sucks. At least I already dragged him to a show in 2015, lol. So it's me and four other Stones veterans.

It'll be my 10th since 1994 (just nextdoor in the Astrodome) and second in this venue (2003), all Texas shows.

The guys are mid-tour hot right now, but I'm not looking too closely. Hoping for some surprises. I can't wait to write a review.

my first stones show ever was 81 in the dome fab tbirds and zz top opened but the best stones shows ive ever seen were at the summit[ in Houston ,which is now a church, it was in the 90s on a thurs and Friday, the place was packed both nights and now one sat down at either show, they were electric those 2 nights

I was at that second Summit show and it still stands as one of my favorite Stones shows since my first one in 1989 at the Cotton Bowl. Little Queenie, Under My Thumb and Like a Rolling Stone on the B-stage made my night. Wanna Hold You, Flip the Switch and Saint of Me were highlights as well. I scored a second row lower level seat stage left and had a very close view of the show and Keith. It was the first time that I had seen them play indoors and I remember thinking how intimate the arena felt as compared to stadiums and speedways. I think it was at this show that Mick had a mini clothing rack of shirts and jackets just to the side of Charlie's kit. Between songs he would periodically look through the rack and change shirts/jackets.
I am looking forward to the Rock Show this Saturday!

I met a guy on line in Jacksonville who was from Perth. He had been at NOLA and had three other shows on his list. Love it!

The bus number 102 leaves every 15 minutes from the airport (every half our after 6pm), going to downtown Houston, cost $1.25, pay as you enter the bus. It takes an hour.

Get the Houston official visitors guide at the info desk at the airport, then you are all sorted with maps and directions.
