If you find flights to JAX or MIA pricey, consider Orlando (MCO), and get a cheap rental car. This also gives you more flexibility on where you can stay. It's a beautiful time of the year, if any semi-frozen Europeans are tempted to come over.

Where do I find ticket prices?

You're right about the weather Dean. St Augustine is a pretty neat city to visit and not too far. Booked my flights to Jax on Monday.
Not sure we're going to see prices until next Wednesday but it would be helpful to know in advance.

Can anyone explain why Stubhub, as an example, does not show a pit area on their image of the venue in Jacksonville?

I'm a Pit newbie and sorry if this has been asked before. I'm considering a Pit option for the Jacksonville show.

What are the rules and guidelines for these type of tickets? Come as you go, before, during the show? Obviously no seats, but are there specific standing spots for your ticket? I'm assuming the vantage point for the show is fantastic?? Thanks for any insight(s)!

I was in the pit for my first and only time in Paris 2 during No Filter. No, there are no reserved spots and people get very territorial about the spot they have chosen. Not to say that there was any problem, but people staked their claim. I have a seat for Jacksonville and I'm almost sorry I didn't go for the pit again. I'm a small 66 year old woman. Have a blast. It was truly a THRILL!!

... No. So, if you pop out for a beer, there's no guarantee that someone won't be standing in your wonderful space. If you need to stand on the rail, that's a whole 'nother thing, apparently - a lot of elbows and jostling for an inch of personal space (see steffialicia's comment). The view isn't great from the rail in front of the stage (no Charlie, e.g.)

Yes, indeed, unless you are a midget. There's nothing quite like it. It's a great $530-odd purchase.

I’m attending the Jacksonville show. Really exited about it. I’ve seen them twice (1997, 2006) and can’t wait to see them again.
I’ll be flying from the Dominican Republic. Section J.

Just scored a couple of Pit A tickets.Two for 1000 bucks.Not sure why they are so cheap?Pit B is over twice that.On Ticketmaster too.They do say prices will fluctuate.
