Has anyone ever succeed to score a Lucky Dip for Miami??

And really what's these Row and seat numbers in GAFLD tickets on Ticketsnow.com? Are there seats in Field section of unreserved general admission as Ticketmaster declares??

The row and seat numbers are for Ticketmaster to keep track of each ticket. The last number is the last ticket available. It doesn't mean that you will be in the last "row" of a general admission standing section. You wait on line at the venue, and based on your place on line when you enter, you walk (or power walk, or run) to your section. Anyone with early admission privileges will already be in and on the rail, if any tickets were sold with early admission for the venue. They don't offer early admission tickets at all venues, tours, or dates.

I recommend tickets under the canopy. It will feel 30 degrees cooler 110 Heat Index (with sun) versus 80 -85 without. The sun will probably near sunset if not already by the time show starts. After June 21 we lose one minute of daylight per day. So that means it is approximately one hour less of daylight around August 31. There should be shde or shadows throughout stadium at entry time.

Other Advice

I recommend everyone wear a hefty amount deodorant because you will be outdoors before concert. Please do not wear cologne because the heat and humidity can have a counter impact on your person and those around you. Carry a pair of clothes pins for your nose just in case others are too smelly from overbearing perfume.

During the summer like a day such as this where it is very hot and Humid . this is how I get in and out of my car, say around 2:00 pm.


1. Enter Car and quickly start it.

2. Open all windows

3. Turn on Air Conditioner at full blast


4. Get out of hot car rapidly

5. Wait 3- to 5 minutes


6. Get back in car and drive away you can roll up windows after a couple of minutes of driving.


Also there are Windshield Screens you can buy that can help.

Its gonna be hot as hell so no matter what you are wearing, you will be soaked in sweat. Go lightweight with the clothes. Too hot for tailgating before the show at the venue. I will arrange another pre and post party so we can get refreshments on show day!

First show is now the last show of the tour. Funny how that turned out backwards!

I'm still undecided, but leaning heavily on taking the trip across the Atlantic for the Miami show. Do any of you have any recommendations when it comes to hotels? Is the Stadium Hotel nearby the place to stay, or are there other better options?

Any pre/after show meetups planned?

mjol--the Stadium hotel is the only hotel within walking distance of the show. Having said that, I would not choose to stay there but it depends on your budget really. The Stadium hotel is a low end hotel in a unique location, meaning it's not near anything except the stadium itself. It is not close to the beach or really any tourist type attractions. However, if you are just looking for a bed for one night it might be ok. I had a friend stay there for a major soccer match recently and hated it b/c it is pretty low end. Think Motel 6 if that means anything to you. You are probably better off staying on Ft Lauderdale beach and ubering to and from the show but that's just my opinion. I always try to stay within walking distance of the shows but I wouldn't stay at this particular hotel. But that's just me. I try to stay at Courtyard or above level hotels.

Funny, but when I bought my Chicago tickets, they were to be the last show. Burls creek added after that, but still the last US shows. Now they're the openers and NEXT WEEK!! Last became first

Some pics will be taken of the venue surroundings- Not South Beach; Not close to stadium. See no reason not to post some pics since there is a drive around area every work day!

The two Chicago shows I saw earlier had official starting times of 7:30pm, with the Stones eventually starting 8:45-8:50pm. Miami has an official starting time of 8pm. Does anyone know if this means the Stones are also likely to start half an hour later, 9:15ish? Or, is the opening act just likely to be shorter, so the Stones start at the usual 8:45ish? Or, could it go either way?

MLH--out of curiousity, how would anyone on this board, including BV know the answer to your question? If you want a guess, my guess is they will come out at 9:15 and they will not cut the opener, who is a very popular Latin artist, short. To come out at 8:45 with a 30 minute break to get the stage ready after the opener, the opener would only be given 15 minutes. Not happening. Or they could actually start the opener at 7:30 like the other shows and the 8pm show time is in error. Did I blow your mind yet?

The temps sure played into our decision to give it up after the washout in NOLA for our trip. Hope it's better but sweating and near heatstroke conditions are not worth if for any band.

Mike--I live in Miami and it's just not that bad in the evening. Is it hot and humid? For sure. But so are the other cities on this tour. In fact, Miami that night will be more pleasant than NJ was last weekend and then Philly was just the day before the show up there. It just isn't that bad once the sun goes down and maybe that's why the 8pm start time for the Miami show. Also, most of the seats in the stadium (likely not including the pit) will be in the shade now with the large canopies they put in last season. Additionally, you can hang out in the shaded concourse until after 9 when the Stones go on if the heat bothers you that much. It just really shouldn't be a deciding factor in going or not in my opinion.

Is there anywhere reasonably close to the stadium other than the Stadium Hotel? I wouldn’t have a car, and I’ve heard getting a ride share afterwards will be pretty difficult.

Amy, unfortunately the stadium hotel is the only hotel within walking distance of the stadium and it is a low-end hotel. Also unfortunate is the fact that getting an Uber or lyft after a major event there is near impossible despite the fact that they have a designated area for them. It just doesn’t work at all as I have personally found on numerous occasions. There is also a designated taxi area outside the stadium which seems to work better than the rideshare area. Another option is to actually walk to the stadium hotel after the show and request an Uber from there as it is much easier to get one from there than the stadium because they can avoid the stadium traffic to get there and you can sit down in the lobby while you wait.

Pre and Post Party Day of Show - Center Bar at Calder Casino
It's right next to the Hard Rock Stadium and will be the most convenient place to meet. Its got your basic food, drinks at the bar, plus a full buffet that starts at 4 PM for &16.99 so that's a good option to eat before going to the stadium. Pre-party should start at 3. The place is open till 4:30 AM so after party can go all night if anyone has the energy!

Calder casino would also be a good location to get an Uber from after the show. It is about a 15 minute walk from the stadium. While there is a large rideshare area right outside of the stadium, it has never worked for me. My Uber requests when I have tried either just spin and spin or never hooks me up with a driver or my driver is stuck outside in traffic and is never one of the drivers just sitting inside the lot. I have tried a number of times after big events at the stadium and it has never worked for me. Now I just drive and sit in the traffic because it is a lot less stressful than trying to get a ride share at the stadium after the show. For those of you without cars I suggest walking either to the stadium hotel to get an Uber or walk to Calder Casino to get an Uber.

It will be the second song in set.

They do nothing special for the last show on a tour. Mick MIGHT say something like this is the last show on this leg of the tour or something like that or he may just say nothing about it. But if you are asking if they do anything special for the last show of the tour, the answer is no.

The Last Time reached #11 on US Charts - So even the casual fan is familiar with song. I wouldn't mind hearing it or 19th Nervous Breakdown.
