Las Vegas , all that glitters under the sun and the moon and the nighttime stars and all the fun that sin city has to offer which is why I believe it is truly America's Playground .

I might put it this way ...the states are like the Greek Islands in terms of different states/islands are better suited for certain activities. NY & Chicago are truly great. Period. So is Miami but in a much different way. More Sun if you are into that or want a break from winter. New Orleans and Las Vegas are great party spots but I think New Orleans is great even if you don't party. Jazz Fest is tons of music night and day! In terms of the Stones tour the Northeast lets you hit few shows in different states (Boston to Washington is an 8 hour drive with Philly & NY in between) and is easy to get around both locally and interstate. I live in Florida now and am not a fan of Jacksonville but its 5-6 drive to Miami so you could get 2 early warm weather shows. The West offers spectacular vistas so if you like that kind of stuff Phoenix would be an option. Grand Canyon National Park turns 100 this year as I recall. Parts of it are not that far from Vegas. Denver has the Rocky Mountains which are spectacular. I would recommend Boulder Colorado for nearby fun as well.

you know when i was in my 20s, the current green situation was the dream. now that i'm in my 50s, i'm more interested in not being "adjusted". i think when legalization happened they removed some of the fun by removing the scofflaw aspect.

i have a few setlist wishes that are more or less unlikely. they both have opportunity for the band to get into the scary good groove that i relish in a stones show & haven't always got. they are "out of control" & "dancing with mr d". dancing has that swampy, dirty groove that works real good live IMHO. i saw 1 of the few arena shows on the original bridges tour in portland & they hit that sort of thing on control. it was stunning. saw that happen with sympathy for the devil on the voodoo lounge tour & it was great, too.
