ANy Chance Keith will break with tradition and do his two songs from Talk is Cheap!, as he is plugging the 30th re-release

The Eagles do solo stuff mixed in with the 'hits', it would shake the set list up a fair bit, as several solo songs started off in stones sessions

Of course Mccartney and Clapton have always mixed it up with no complaints

No.they dont mix stones and solo stuff.
Jeroen

2003 Cirkus Krone and some later dates Keith played The Nearness Of You (although from a bootleg) it’s not a Stones song and they played Don’t Look Back from Mick & Peter Tosh. I think it was in 2002.

I want PIT for NY at $ 250! LOL

I don't know about $250, but I think that if you are willing to go to the show on Monday, you might be able to find a pit ticket at a decent price as the show date nears. Right now, on Stubhub, it appears that there are 32 tickets left in Pit 2 (Keith side) and 134 tickets left in Pit 1, with only ten actual sales since January 1, 2019. I paid $539 plus fees for a ticket, and am happy with that, but have been watching since I would like to take my daughter.

For some reason, the Thursday NJ show has few available tickets.

Sporadic pit sales for Pasadena on Stubhub, but sale prices have been very high - a little less than $2000 per ticket. Well, I guess that's to be expected for LA on a Saturday night. I wouldn't count on any bargains for pit tickets at that show. If you have the time, Glendale Arizona on a Tuesday is a much better bet.

I assume you're referring to this > CRAP
Called the Tailgate collection of overpriced junk - it might have something to do with stadiums they're playing, but I don't think it's specifically tour related.
Ironically, tailgating aka partying/bbqing in the parking lot, is not allowed at most of the scheduled stadiums

This is the one, the items first appear, then disappear.

Who knew BBQ products could produce such outrage.
Good gravy hope I’m not around when they see the $20. chicken sandwiches inside spinning smiley sticking its tongue out
Who cares?
People like to buy stuff. Let ‘em.
Now who’s on the grill for Santa Clara?

but but it reminds me of Border Books
who started out down here with strong
well stocked book/magazine stores but then
in the final months before they folded their
stores were full of all sorts of cheap items like aprons and patio-BBQ sets ….

Even blind-Freddy could see the end was acoming …..

Next in line of the Stones Picnic Essentials - large burlap bags w/tongue printed on them so fans can have gunny sack races during the pre-show tailgate party.

Yes.

Found the quote:

BN: Enough about trees. Let’s talk about the Stones. You guys are hitting the road again in the spring. Isn’t this getting a bit old?

CL: The band gets better and better, and I mean that sincerely.
I’ve been with this outfit for 37 years and it’s never been as good as it is right now.
The songs are iconic, Jagger is an amazing front man, and Keith is one of the most amazing guitarists.
We start rehearsals in March.

That's our stones, playing fast and loose with the law.

I see Chuck and his solo band are playing a show along the tour - think it was
someplace in New york. Are there other band members who have announced solo shows - such as Tim Ries - during the stones tour?

We can fire up spleef in the lot, just not the barbies...
(Joke. I am not sure of actual state by state stadium laws, my disclaimer)

well, LA is just a short flight to the Bay, so I wouldn't assume anything from a Denson/Lesh gig. (arent the rehearsals supposed to be in LA?)

well Hairball, with the timing, how could it not be tour-related? I guess I am unaware of restrictions on barbeques in parking lots, this must have come about since last I did such things. I will have to ask my brother about Denver. He did say we will be tailgating, but said nothing specific about BBQing. I just assumed that. In any event, I would bet there will still be BBQing outside of the stade lots.

In sum, I would say the band has reached a new level of greed with this sale of tailgating items. I don't put anything past them at this point, if I ever did.

A question and comment on this --

I thought he was first with the band in '89 for Steel Wheels. 37 years would be '82. Was he with them on the Euro tour that year, or in the studio with them that year?

his better and better comment -- I would have to say I agree with him in some ways ... the second Paris show, my 50th overall, on October 22nd '17, was their greatest show I have ever seen.
