I hope they're still at it 3 years from now. Of course, every time I've seen them since 1999, I've been sure it was the last time, so you're probably good to go!

saw them since 1976. Want to see them in South America. But...you never know when they stop. For now, i dont have the money and time to see them again. Saw them in 2017 n 2018 multiple times. Dont wanna go to the USA. Been there before. Never been to Argentina, so would be nice to mix a visit n see THE Stones.

Not many people know about them but they are the first to sell out. OK

Actually pit and the section in front of catwalk sold out first.

Presales though.

Lucky Dips aren't available until the general sale.

Even on general sale the pit and front/center section to catwalk were gone before the LDs.

Well they had a head start with all the presales!

That is largely irrelevant. Even without presales those sections would have been gone in minutes just like the LD tickets. Different people are buying guaranteed good tickets from LD tickets. For some people ( I am one ) the existence of LD tickets is irrelevant and if that was my ONLY option I would skip it. Once was enough. For others they would rather spend $30 for an LD ticket than go for the pit or a sweet seat in the front center for the official face value.

Perhaps, but there's also the scalpers to consider who snap up many of those seats for resale, while avoiding Lucky Dips which would do nothing for them. Just looking at Santa Clare for example, there's quite a few red dots within those first sections. Oddly though, when looking at Pasadena just now, there's not one red dot to be found on the entire field, but the seats in the stands are flooded with red dots - something odd about this as I'm sure I saw resale tix all over the field the last time I looked.

AND...even more interesting when looking at Glendale right this second, looks like the resale option has been entirely removed and not a red dot in sight! Not sure if it was ever there in the first place (I think it was), but I see no red dots and no way to filter out verified resale tickets on the purchase page. Are they in the midst of screwing over all the scalpers? Maybe they read my post about Gilmour requesting it being removed ha? Either that or something is currently wrong with their maps?

Glendale

Pasadena

Santa Clara

Resale not just scalpers. I bought tickets for others who cancelled and didn't want to be stuck with them. I ended up selling them that way for what I paid. The reason the LD seats sell fast is price. Basic economics, seats that have a value exceeding price will sell faster than seats where that is not the case. Then there are people who think they will make a buck and get burned. That's what TM wants.

Re: The Rolling Stones No Filter US Tour 2019

Yes daspy - resale also not just scalpers. But a majority of those red dots are those who are in it to make a quick buck.
I've also used the system to sell unwanted/extra tickets mentioned earlier. Tried it for Gilmour at face value, and then he put a stop to the entire resale a day or two after sales (I sold to a friend coming in from Australia instead). I've also sold a single Dead and Company ticket that I listed minutes after I bought it - realized I couldn't and/or didn't want to go (priorities). Also sold a pair of ELO tickets within a week of the show due to a change of plans. All at face value, and it works great for situations like that. But the problem lies with those who are buying simply to make a profit, i.e., scalpers. TM could keep the resale up for all shows and put a 10% cap on the profit to be made with TM keeping the 10% themselves. That would deter the pros and the amateurs from sucking up as many tickets during initial sales (though they can list them elsewhere), but it would still work for the common fans who simply want to try and get their face value money back.

Anyhow, looks like the status of the resale situation remains the same as it was last night for those three shows.
Not an option for Glendale, none on the floor for Pasadena, while Santa Clara is still showing many in all areas.

Hi Topi. I was wondering what do you attribute your success in getting $499.50 pit tickets? Do you think you have been more persistent, have a good method, or are just lucky! I would like to get some face value pits to Pasadena and Santa Clara! Thanks.

I was lucky to get through the waiting room fairly early, I guess. That's one factor for sure. It happened 30 minutes into Thursday's presale.

Also, as I posted earlier, I was indeed persistent in clicking the exact same ticket listing that at first returned the "sorry another fan beat you" and "these tickets are no longer available" error messages.

Does BV have any threads specifically for arranging meet ups/fan club gatherings in each city? He should, or one of us should do this for each show. I mean, something separate from the travel info for each city/show and specific to meet ups/gatherings. Stonesdoug on Shidoobee does this I think, not sure if it is a page on their website or just on their Facebook page, or both. Not sure exactly how they do it. Seems he has some specific way of doing this. Seems like there is a specific Web/FB page for it, or maybe one for each stop on the tour.

Whatever it is, it seems to work well as the Shidoobeean gatherings seem to be more frequent and regular than IORRian gatherings in the various cities on tours.

Someone may be able to shed more light on all of this.

I think persistency is key. Check IORR,org, shidoobie, facebook forums, etc. multiple times a day from now on. When Ticketmaster drops a new batch of PIT tickets (and believe me, they will do this sometime during the next months), you'll get your desired tickets. I did this the past 2 years for the European shows. Got Pit tickets for Arnhem, Warsaw and Marseille that way.
Now, I got one PIT for the NJ first show through the fan presale. Had 3 computers running, with different browsers, that did the job. So a little bit of luck is necessary, but persistency (or should I say 'obsession') is the key to succes winking smiley

Good luck!

He's been doing city-specific threads along these lines closer to show time, since the beginning of time.

it has nothing to do with the guy that shot him that makes it tacky and out of place, it’s the act of trotting him out in the middle of his show, while he is wrapped in an American flag, singing some phones ass patriotic bullshit song, dragging us along to his right wing political bullshit agenda, and bringing that to a stones show that makes it pure cheese. I’ve got nothing against the serviceman. It’s kidrocks method and actions that made it beyond tacky.

I have a general pit question for those that have been. Is it possible to hang towards the back of the pit and not feel like a sardine? I have had front pit for Springsteen for a number of shows and if you didn't feel like pushing up to the front, hanging in the back of the pit was a great experience. Still very close but no mass of humanity/subway cramming type experience. I am doing pit in Jax and Philly for the Stones and hoping for the same type of situation.

That's always the case. You will be able to find a spot where you have room but not next to catwalk or rail.

Hanging at the back, even back rail, of the pit is an awesome spot. Nobody pushing from behind you, you see the whole stage well but are still close, and great sound. If I cannot get a spot at about the middle of the catwalk, I go farther back in the pit.

Does anyone know the non-platinum, non-package price of pit tickets this tour?

499 USD+ fees,
altogether around 560 USD

My seats in the third row for Kansas City in 2015 were like $300 plus fees, I think. So they jacked it up 66% in 3 years? That's a hell of an inflation rate.
