Yes, stadiums in Europe are much smaller than the US Fields/Stadiums etc., this is why they had some issues with the Steel Wheels stage and at some shows of the A Bigger Bang tour the stage did just fit in at the longer side of the stadiums in Europe, taking half of the seats away.

So they might want to add something to the monumentum as they got more space, everything's bigger in the US winking smiley

So all shows go on sale at the same time

Other people here that do several shows. How do you tackle this?

I normally find the smallest ticket holders in line and tackle them instead.

This is why I need an escort

Hi BV,
How is the likelihood of New Orleans_
50%, 90% or?

Not BV of course, but I'd put it as accurate as any of the other dates/venues he put up before the announcement (100%).

The second shows not being announced, as well as JF, were well known.
Jazz Fest doesn't announce their line-up until next month, stones can't until then as well.

Another question from Buenos Aires. Are the seats in the first row sold at the pre-sale? or then in the general sale there are good locations near the stage? my plan is to go to the 2 shows at Metlife. regards!

Sounds good. My preferable place to go in 2019. Lots of music at the festival and an interesting city ..... a 10 days enjoyment.

Not sure it's accurate as it's Taylor Swift's most recent tour stage setup, like the same exact image.

At first I took your word for it, but after looking a bit via google ( Taylor Swift ) I see there's some differences:

Both maps below for Levi stadium. Maybe similar, but definitely different - most prominently the catwalks, and Taylor Swift had little satellite stages (those are cool - imagine Mick and Keith each on a separate one!):

Taylor Swift:

Stones:

Good news as it looks like there will be PIT and GA Standing sections for the Stones in America?!II

I’ll be on the move on November 30th at 10am EST, about to catch the Stansted Express en route to Kraków to see Paul McCartney! I’ll be limited to whatever WiFi or Mobile Data I can get at Liverpool Street Station. Hoping for Lucky Dips for the 2 New York shows.

2018 and I have a Beatles/Rolling Stones clash confused smiley

I’ll find a way...

Some strange sounding floor plans emerging. I imagine the 4 big towers of the No Filter Stage will remain, but the stage will be widened and the catwalk modified a bit. Standing GA behind a load of seats sounds a bit poor.

Stones/Beatles...smiling smiley

And come one grzegorz67 - first you were moaning about all US stadiums being all seating, and now that there's standing PIT and GA at the back, still not satisfied!
For what it's worth, the setup at Desert Trip was very similar and seemed to work very well - standing Pit up front, rows and rows of seats behind w/bleachers on the side, and then a massive GA section in the very back.
And like Desert Trip, those GA seats in the back might be among the absolute cheapest of them all!

That was fantastic!

It already looks outdated and cheesy (in a good way) like some long lost time capsule...and those cheerleaders are great to look at!
The excitement is taking over the city!!!

Looking at the pics for Levi, it might even be better if the stage isn't in the endzone but facing sideways towards the 400 level section? Majority of the crowd would be facing the stage almost like an amphitheatre.

It would be way better that way for everyone in the crowd...but the luxury suites over the press box on the home side are probably too big of a source of income to close for a concert...the silicon valley elite need their space lol

Yes, it seems there will be some GA floor on this tour.

Ticketmaster disclaimer (Seattle):

"Please note This event will take place rain or shine. Any General Admission floor tickets are standing room only. There are no seating options in these areas. All standing room is on a first come, first serve basis. These tickets will be shipped to the mailing address associated with the account -- General Admission tickets cannot be Print-At-Home or mobile delivery."

I guess that means hard tickets or will-call.

I also don't see any pricing. Usually ticket master give a heads up for the pricing before they go on sale

They stopped doing this recently. Probably they want you to get the tickets in the heat of the moment and buy them without much time to think about pricing.

If you know they are $800 you have plenty of time to talk yourself out of going before they go on sale.
