I like the new poster, but I've always had an issue calling East Rutherford New York since it's in New Jersey. On the other hand this would be perfect for Madison Square Garden.

Agree with you frankotero regarding using New York landmarks for a New Jersey show. Aside from that minor quibble, I think this ranks up there with the best posters yet!
Detailed yet simple with the minimal coloring, and while the tongue is clearly evident, it's not obtrusive. If there was ever a time for Grregory the gorilla to reappear, he would have been perfect perched atop the antennae! winking smiley

I apologize if this has been addressed- are the posters at the show signed and numbered? OR somehow different from the ones that end up for sale online after the show? Basicially, is there any reason to buy the poster at the show? short of saving money on shipping and handling.

Thanks TornandFried. That also saves the hassle of carrying around a poster tube all night.

I thought there were a limited edition of posters to be bought at the shows that are numbered - pretty sure that was the case for the earlier shows anyways.
Granted they weren't hand-written/numbered as with the Zip Code tour (these are printed numbered), but I think there was an edition of 500 or so.

Yep - the Poster from Burl's Creek (Oro Medonte, Canada) looks hand-written/numbered (500 pieces) - [iorr.org] .

Chicago #1 numbered/imprinted (500 pieces): [iorr.org] .

Houston numbered/handwritten: Twitter-picture.

Jacksonville numbered/handwritten (500 pieces): [www.Reddit.com] .

Thanks Irix, and indeed the numbering looks handwritten.
I'm almost sure though that one or both of the Chicago show litho's had the numbers, but were printed or stamped on - not handwritten which is one of the reasons I didn't bother to get one at the Chicago 2 show.
Ordered one online along with the t-shirt (w/10% discount code) and am still waiting, though I did receive the first batch of merch I ordered which was two large foam tongues, and the blue and red tye dye t-shirt.thumbs up

My Chicago night one litho is not hand written. It is printed on and I bought it at the show. We had a good discussion after Chicago 1 about the printed ones and what kept them from printing several more numbered 1-500.

This tour has the least adventurous posters in the post 50th anniversary period.

pretty sure that was just to promo the tour and wasn't ever a poster.

but, in today's world if you know anything about tech or printing or whatever you can probably have it made.

good luck!

Nice looking poster, though the first NJ poster was a notch above, and again ranks up there with the some best of this tour.
Looks great on the black background - if I was attending this show no doubt would want it, and the t-shirt.thumbs up

Hmmm...rendered well, but a bit drab for this time of year when the mountains are overflowing with color and life.
Might have been more appropriate for a show in either the Arctic or Antarctic.
The design is also on a white t-shirt which makes it look even blander.

Love it!!

Building was designed by architect Frank Gehry.
Most locals really didn't like it for some time.. grew on everyone over time though. I've always liked the design.

A must have cool smiley
