The Rolling Stones on “Goodnight America”, 5 June 1975

I found this by pure luck.
With an intro by Jagger during the first seconds and then from the 24:00 mark and the following 10 minutes, a segment of soundcheck by the band playing Honky Tonk Women + interviews with Mick & Bianca, all made on the eve of the premiere of the 1975 Tour.
Enjoy!

I remember watching this at the time!!
A fairly new show with Geraldo.. opposite of Good Morning America.
Great time for tv back then (SNL etc).

It was aired before I ever saw them live, which I did when they came through Seattle on that tour.
Time flies.

To be (nearly) as excited as I was back then, to be catching them in the same city some 44 years later, is truly amazing cool smiley

"[In the future] I wouldn't like to be in Vegas, doing those songs...just to be getting a lot of money".

So much for that notion. Look out 20th century Jagger, you're no match for 21st century Jagger.

I remember seeing this show.

Geraldo then was better than Geraldo now.

Plus Mick and Keith still sharing a mic. They should bring that back.

They have no idea how much fans love that. It would really add something to this next tour if they did.

Wow. Watching Bianca was painful. "Well, he's not the greatest admirer of woman, maybe, but it's very difficult when you have a lot of groupies around."

Yikes.

Great find. I remember this from when it aired. Stones Willowbrook gangsters John lennon. Very heavy stuff.

But. Aside from news clips of the tour announcement truck performance this is Ronnie’s first footage with the stones. Goofy loose sound check.

Chet Flippo writes about Geraldo and Jagger in Baton Rouge in his excellent book...

Bianca: «Mick has evolved and gone past the groupies. Well, a little bit...»

Right.. winking smiley
