Does anyone know something about Shirley Arnold? She was running the fanoffice in London in the sixties/seventies.

I believe she now lives in Spain (may have read this on this site), not sure.
Given her close working relationship with the group in their most interesting years (1964/72) she must have been offered lots of dosh to write her memoirs. All credit that she has stayed silent...other than give the odd interview here and there.
And of course being a Fan Club Secretary she could at least put a sentence together.
