I believe Crosby, Stills ,Nash & young use too take 10 to 15 minute intermissions.

I saw a Stones show with an intermission, the bomb scare show at Charlottesville in 2005. The break broke the momentum of the show, and caused the chopping of Keith's set.

No.
Albeit, when Keith does his two songs that could be considered somewhat an intermission until Mick comes back on stage.

An intermission for a Stones concert is a tremendous idea. Let's take sports for example, a 20 minute half-time break in most cases changes the outcome of team's performance.
Let's say the Stones during intermission determine the setlist just "doesn't feel right " They could could put the setlist on a projector and revise as necessary and discuss kinks in their performance. I recommend the intermission around the 10 song mark.
No.......
They do that mid show, on stage, ala Mick - "So long as we don't @#$%& it up - looking at Keith - Cardiff or Twickenham this year..........

I've seen shows by acts as varied as Bruce Springsteen and Rush with breaks/intermissions. It always feels like it takes a number or two to regain the impetus: people are returning from the bar or the bog trying to get back to their seats. A Rolling Stones show maintains the head of steam all the way to Satisfaction. If the band can make it without a break then I think they should continue to do so.

Valid points but, in today's internet world there are really no surprises, especially at a Stones show. The setlist from like the seventh song on is pretty much set in stone. You know what's coming and the second half of the show is the warhorse run for the bus medley. Maybe an intermission can create a different atmosphere. We are talking about men approaching 80 years old.
