I'm glad that this is a time that Jagger doesn't do the pragmatic turn; like he does often in latter day interviews where he pretty much takes all the wind out of the great war stories. But here he says he won't take the mystery out of the sex tales.

I don’t need to read the article. Reading his eyes from spell binding upside black and white photo says it all. Nice pic, btw

The real question is...how much Mick Jagger did Katherine Hepburn have in her?

No, the real question is: are we getting laid TODAY? Why do we care about people’s sex lives that are 35-40 years old? Who wants to rehash spectator details.

The answer to the real question is no, but thanks for asking.

Why do we care about Mick and Anita? I don't, but I like PERFORMANCE and the role of Mick and Anita in regards to Mick and Keith's relationship is interesting.

Why do we care about Mick and Katherine Hepburn? Just try imagining it and you'll understand.

Thanks Christiano! Mojo has a great piece here. layout and content imo.
i would have missed this. thanks! i am of the age where i saw this
when first released while still a teenager...well around 19 or 20...
...it was instantly one of the most darkly fascinating and intriguing
popular films I'd ever seen. albeit a big rock and roll fan and very sensitive
and inspired by every little thing Jagger up to that point. admittedly...
so i went in hopeful and predjudiced in favor, but still...same with
that emilio estevez movie i had no issue pronouncing as 'sucks'...
made Ringo in Caveman look like Buster Keaton on his best day at work...
...
....made that ken russell 'tommy' movie look like it was worth the food
you lost vomitting after seeing it; or during, in hoppys case...

oh, thanks Christiano...

"Cuppa tea?"

I loved that Rockman, thanks! One aspect of PERFORMANCE that always struck me is that these "hippies" are just as capitalist as anyone -- the exchange of $ comes up early and frequently (e.g., Anita adding what Chaz owes to move in, etc.).

I didn’t double check, in fact I don’t know details but I think it’s sad and dark and maybe I just needed to confess my book problem
Staying out of Performance
Happy for those that appreciate all the 50 anniversary tributes / info
