Condolences.
I recently had kind of the opposite happen.
Family member passed and we've adopted her beloved older dog.
Every time I grab my car keys the little guy thinks he's heading home.
Heartbreaking.
The connection between dogs and their human run deep..

Hey babyblue, maybe go checkout The Who concert tomorrow night. I think tickets prices have been reduced since there were lots available. Good way to take your mind off of this for a couple hours! When I saw them at Rogers a couple years ago, that was the best sounding concert I've heard there, although Elton John last month was excellent sound, too. I'm sitting upper bowl endzone this time so hopefully the sound is okay up there.

Very sorry for your loss. I lost my best friend close to a year ago now. Yoda the most wonderful, fun, loving dog I’ve ever known. It crushes the heart and soul. But it does get better with time.

Babyblue, I know how you feel and am sorry for you.
My dear bullterrier bitch died unexpectedly at the age of 8 and left me, a man of 70, stunned and in tears.
