If you could choose 5 war horses for the A side and 5 deep cuts for the B side for a ten-song live album, which songs, and which live versions of them?

(I'll come up with my ten later, this is going to be an education on which live tracks I need to track down

if i was going to put a live album together it would have more than 10 songs.

would love to hear a live album of the recent tour as it was amazing, songs taken from warsaw, prague, berlin, stuttgart are the highlights and would include war horses and deep cuts.

I mean, Live Licks disc 1 is about as perfect a warhorse disc as you can get. The performances leave a little to be desired, but that list of songs is flawless if you're not absolutely sick of those songs.

You're basically describing Live Licks. one of the CDs is warhorses and the other is deep cuts.

Just like Mr. Powderman's selection, yours is also pretty good. I just miss Roll Over Beethoven live from 1970 on Side B. Can we squeeze it in somewhere? It's quite short so nobody would even notice or at least complain about that in fact we would have 11 instead of just 10 tracks...!

I just wish they would release a good modern live version of She's a Rainbow. I almost think I could go the rest of my life without another live version of Honky Tonk Woman - I just checked and I have 22 versions in my Itunes LOL

For my own part, I don't want any warhorses included.

Instead five songs from the coming studio album and preferably five deep cuts played live during this and next year's continuation of their ongoing tour. I don't know which songs are available then, or how to choose. But, if possible, I prefer live songs played by the band of later years, but material that has been little played formerly.

Even better, ten live songs from the forthcoming studio album.
