Bjornulf you’ve got a point, by saying that you don’t want your family to be sad hearing Stones songs. Later when one hear a song being played, it can remind them. But I stil will let my family play Stones songs, let’s make a Stones Party of it!!

I understand your point, BV, however I've already told loved ones that if there is to be a gathering for me when I pass, I want " Wild Horses" to be played...a lot...no funeral, no wake just a small celebratory gathering with my favorite Stones song playing in the background. It seems fitting since the Stones are such a huge part of my life.

At my wake I've left instructions to provide copious amounts of booze and play "Exile'" straight through, steadily increasing the volume, so that the finale, "Soul Survivor," shakes the neighborhood. If I don't wake up it was still worth a shot.

I don't want any music at my funeral. I cannot hear it anyway.

I went to a friend's funeral repass/party and her kids decided to play her Ipod. So we listened to all of her favorite songs while saying goodbye to her. Everyone loved hearing the songs she liked most. It was a great idea.

RBK, now you're TALKING! EXILE played throughout the day of the funeral and " Wild Horses" as an addition. " Wild Horses" is my favorite Stones song with " Let It Loose" a close second so that's my one-two punch!
