I hope that your interest in The Rolling Stones leads you on to investigate the origin of their music - artists like Elmore James, Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson Howling Wolf, and Chuck Berry.
And to make several of us feel really old... by my calculation someone who is 23 was born in 1995. A year The Rolling Stones toured Europe etc, and it seems like only yesterday.
Hi CaptainCorella,
My life is all bout the 50's and 60's music. unfortunately, I was born a generation too late to enjoy the 50's greats live. Therefore Iam happy that I have an age where I can see act like the Stones live. Kids growing up now will probably never get the change to see The Stones live.
Just a few classic bands Ive seen over the last couple of years:
2011/2012
Status Quo 3 times.
John Fogerty, Amsterdam.
2014:
07/06 Stones/John Mayer at Pinkpop festival.
2015:
31/01: Queen + Adam Lambert, Amsterdam.
05/05 AC/DC, Arnhem.
07/06 Paul McCartney, Amsterdam.

12/06 Paul McCartney at Pinkpop festival.

28/06 John Fogerty, Amsterdam.
