even at good price - $70 (US) - I decided to pass - Robbie's gone to the well once to many times. Yeah, there are 37 new tracks - many of these I already have on boots, though and I just couldn't justify spending the bucks on the same tracks for the umpteenth time...even being the huge Band fan I am. I wish they'd separately sell the DVD - that was about the only major draw for me.

I thougth the prices was a little steep too. However, I picked up the "The Rolling Stones Project" by Tim Reiss - Norah Jones version of "WH" is really good.

I went to the Robbie Robertson signing for the box set on Tuesday night here in L.A., but I passed on purchasing it due to the cost. Robbie did a q & a for a good 10-15 minutes prior to signing. He's a very nice guy and was happy to sign for even the people who did not purchase the box set. I was able to have him sign 2 solo cds and a Band cd. last year he appeared on local radio station and was cool to a friend and myself who waited outside, and he signed about 4 items each and we got photos taken with him.

if like projects like Ries' - I suggest folks seek out a copy of Barry Goldberg's "Stoned" disc - released a few years ago....much better than the Ries' projects - MT's even on a couple of trax. Very cool album.

Thanks Rockman I will have to check that out. I thought the version of "Slipping Away" was very good on this CD.
