Hard to be precise, really.. And to be fair, I visited a lot of place thanks to the band.. But if I have to go into numbers.. 70 shows or so.. I guess it's an average 1200 USD per show with plane..

WOW---I didn't spend that much but
if you added all the time i spent listening to them
while i could have been studying or working.

Just the lost of productivity since 1972 has to be almost
as high..haha.

But I LOVED IT too..

From 1980 to 1990 - bought all the records, a lot of boots at record stores in Toronto, finally got to see them on the Steel Wheels tour when I was 22. If I throw in a few books and t-shirts, maybe I spent 500 bucks.

1991 to 2006 - a couple of concerts in Tokyo, BTB and Voodoo, which to this day although I know the songs fairly well I can't tell ya which song belongs on which album, A bigger bang and a few more T-shirts. One of the concerts cost me a couple of thousand - it was a good time.

2007 to present - not a dime. If they come back to Tokyo I might go if I can get my son interested in their music but other than that I can't see myself spending any more money on them. It's not cuz I'm destitute or anything, there's just nothing else to buy IMO. If you're a young fan just discovering their music, OK, but for older fans I don't understand why you have to or would want to buy anything else.

A lot in treasure and OTHER which is costing me big time .

I don't know how, but I think I'm prolly still just under 1000€ total (6 shows=2 round trip train trips, 2 hostel stays, 1 AirBnB, show tix + a dozen or so albums)

Enough to not want to think about it.

Enough to not feel guilty about downloading bootlegs, etc.

Close to a billion dollars.

Stones: 15 shows (most in 2017/18, most of them with LD tickets; Germany, Ireland and the UK)

54+ years, let's see .... mmmm, I actually don't want to know.
However, when people say "how can you spend so much on concert tickets and traveling", I reply with "I consider all my spendings as "shares" in "Rolling Stones Ltd", the most reliable (or better: enjoyable") investments of my life".

Well into five figures, nearly all of it well spent.

Probably not more than a couple grand, lifetime. Of course things were a lot cheaper. My ticket in 1978 was $13 dollars. Plus I was in Indianapolis, which they kept skipping. The most I ever paid for a ticket was $225 on the No Security Tour. I'd always wanted to see them in an arena with a good seat and I wasn't going to let the opportunity pass.

I got way more out of it when I sold the collection before moving.

Different ways and motives to put money in the Stones...
One consists in recycling well-earned money to avoid tax..
I think in the last 15 years I put an average of 0 to 12,000 USD per year in worldwide bullshit "market research" which constantly follows the wake of a Stones tour.
So here is the deal: enjoy the money or pay a 25% corporate tax. I go for the first..
The accountant always has a laugh... He uses that to offset my tiny gains, but warned me the taxman may not be too cooperative in case of control...

Last tour i reckon in 3 shows, with hotels, meals, drinks etc around £3.500.

I don't regret one penny, and found this last tour so enjoyable and great memories and to think I had 18 family and friends at Coventry, was a dream come true.

In fact my sister in law recently stated, family members, used to think you was probably a bit eccentric in your choice of the stones, especially at family parties and then you persuaded us to go to Coventry and we are all converted now.

Many, many dollars have been spent. I don't have an exact total but I can tell you this, of all the money I've spent on Stones, my most memorable purchase was the $100 for 2 tickets to see them at the Roseland Ballroom on the Licks tour! Of all the shows I've been to (by any band), this one is still #1 on my list!

More than I would care to admit to anyone else - but certainly peanuts by this site's standards.

Official releases, so many bootlegs, shows, flights, hotels...
Probably enough to buy a couple of cars.
