I just found out that my "Life" book has totally yellowed. Is this a good or a bad sign?

Signs of the times...

It's likely a sign that you left the book near sunlight since oxidation on a book less than a decade old should never advance to such a level.

It's time-released tobacco staining to make the book look more authentically Keith's.

Keep your favourite books on top shelf.
Don't drink 3-4 hours before retiring to bed
and there are medications that will control sleep-walking …..

Mine's in hardback; it hasn't yellowed, as it's adjacent to a Taschen 100 Masterpieces in Detail.

What has yellowed is my copy of Virgil's Aeneid, but then the edition is 30 years' old, and has been well-thumbed, getting me through A Levels, BA, and MA.

Keith and I (Ronnie) are like chameleons, we can adapt to any situation and still remain very close and see the reality of things.winking smiley

My Yellowed Life sounds like an Eno record, perhaps the follow up to Here Come the Warm Jets. He released My Squelchy Life a few years ago.

My copy went to a charity shop in the summer - along with about a dozen other Stones related tomes.

Mine is in the storage. Deep down in the basement. Never thought much of it.

I thought it was a good read. Read it when it came out and then listened to the audio book four years later. It was highly unlikely I would ever read it again.

Was a bit disappointed when it came out. Have revisited it and changed my mind somewhat. It's not that bad, really. Not that good either. Somewhere in between...

Read it from cover to cover the first time. Not the second time. This book doesn't crave linear reading. You can read a chapter here and there.

Mine copy fell from the library ladder and then from a coconut tree, but it's fine now.

Read it. To me, Life is no big deal at all. Cobbler, stick to your last, I'd like to say.

Put it under direct moonlight which, apparently whitens objects it's subjected to.
Keef would love that juju! grinning smiley

Like Keith's cigarette stained fingers, it was purposely meant to yellow with age.
Eventually some of the pages will curl up mimicking Keith's arthritic fingers.

I read it upon release, not a bad read, then through it in a box of other Stones stuff and currently buried in storage.
Curious now to see if it has evolved like Keith's fingers.....
