100 club Feb. 23 1986... I doubt this kind of show will ever
happen again. Too bad there wasn't a Stones fan there to tape the show????

100 club Feb. 23 1986... I never got to see them in 1962 or 1963.. This
was the closest I was going to get to experience that kind of show.
First it was not packed like the 100 Club show of 1982, there was maybe
150 people at the 86 show (had room to walk around during the show). second a jazz band open the show.. Rocket 88 played first.. Third the Stones entire set list were all cover songs like Dust My Broom,Confessin' The Blues,Key To the Highway,Bye,Bye Johnny etc...Fourth they had different drummer sit in ,bass player like the shows in 1962. Big plus Clapton, Beck & Townsend all joined the band on stage at different times. They all use to come to see the Stones play back in 1962,
Sadly there was no Brian Jones or Stu...I doubt this kind of show will ever
happen again. To bad there wasn't a Stones fan there to tape the show????

I'd put my money on Mr. Karnbach more than Mr. McCartney, though he may have a copy of it as well.

Never knew about Bill not being there that gig (who played bass then?); but I believe Charlie did turn up & sit in, didn't he??
