New York - Roseland 2002
Munich - Cirkus Krone 2003
Stockholm - Cirkus 2003

Honourable mention:
Dublin - The Point (x2) 2003
One of the smallest venues on that tour, aside from the theatre/club shows.

The Odeon Cinema, Rochester, England 1965

That's surely the smallest venue mentioned thus far. Also, the earliest performance. I'm from Gillingham, Kent.

MEN Arena Manchester UK. And do you know what I thought it didn't suit them, made them like an ordinary band I prefer the big spectacular.

Wolverhampton Gaumont Cinema 1965 tour

Leeds University 1971 when 'Get Your Leeds Lungs Out' was recorded

I don't go to see the band these days, I saw them when they were at their best and don't want those memories spoiled by seeing greatest hits stadium shows

Shepherds Bush Empire London, Brixton Academy London, Beacon Theatre NYC. God knows which is technically 'the smallest', the most important thing is that these were all very small places as compared to the 'monster venues' they're playing under the current touring model - and I WAS THERE !!! hot smiley

Satisfied since 1976

I also saw Mick Taylor at Scene West, a pub in Oslo in 1995 (capacity: round 200) + twice at the Rockefeller (a club with a capacity of 1200 people).

I missed Ronnie with Totta's Blues Band at the Sardine's in Oslo in the late 80s, though.

Yeah that place served us well as kids, from Saturday morning pictures to Victor Sylvester dance classes in the '50's, (when it was the Gaumont), through to the RS concert 1965. Another memory of the place, at a dance class, we all crowded out to the balcony to see a parade of elephants, coming from Rochester Station to Jacksons Rec, for the circus show. yes really! Quite a spectacle!

As for the RS concert, I had a front row seat, all for ten bob pocket money, how things change eh!

The place is pulled down now and old people's apartments built in its place, but I'm not thinking of rushing back there any time soon.......

pretty sure it's arnhem 2017. i saw 14 shows so i think this is not a good score. But if you where too young on the licks tour and living in Europe it is almost impossible to see club/arena show (if you dont have the big bucks)

The two shows at The Point Dublin 2003 were the smallest venues.

Just a few feet away from Keith when the great Irish fans got me to the rail on the second gig, as they were taller than me.

The only really small gig I made an effort for was The Astoria 2003 .Many of us were unsuccessful after being in a well organised line , and no tix for any of us.

Lots of regrets about not really trying to go to the early gigs in 1963-4 in my home area of Kingston/Richmond ,although I was a fan of The Stones then at the age of 11-12.

Wasn't a priority at the time, and other interests in life apart from seeing The Rolling Stones live. confused smiley
